Hi Kitty.  The nasal spray you are using is not MB12.  It is CB12.  MB12=Methylcobalamin and the other is Cyanocobalamin.  Both are B12 but not in the same form.    Methyl is preferred over Cyano because Cyano has to be converted into Methyl by the body whereas Methyl is immediately available to the body for use which means it's much more bioavailable.  You can try the Cyano but you'd probably get better results from Methyl.  You can get the MB12 nasal spray (with an Rx) from a compounding pharmacy - Coastal Compounding, Lee Silsby, Wellness, Park and a few others.  You may even be able to find a local compounding pharmacy that can do it.  Or you can order MethlyMate from New Beginnings. Thank you, that is good to know. The funny thing is he was SUPER

HYPER tonight. After his first dose he didn't take a nap today which

is uncommon. Those things had me thinking he was having some kind of

response to the spray. Also can someone tell me if the nasal spray

should be given with folate? I hadn't even though of that until

today.

Well, yes, because you ask for the nasal sprayer when you order it (it's free).  Sorry, I forgot to mention that.  But you do need to use more to equal 1 dose of the Rx spray.  1 spray of MM = approx 500 mcg so you need to use about 2.5 sprays if you want the same dose as Rx.
