Rob, My favourite subject. No-one wants to be told whatever age they

retire, surely if you've worked all your life the 'icing' should be

that 'you' decide. It's okay to say, yeah, keep them there till 70 but

you can see with me what they want you doing, mopping the 'young'

executive's toilet. They keep saying at my work they don't want to

loose me, no they want to sit me in a corner assisting a supersidious

young engineer who will pick my brain for experienced and common sence

knowledge. That, you understand, is the thing their bright young

educated whizz kids can't produce and no amount of money nor education

can buy. On the job experience, the knowledge we all carry in our

heads, the contacts we have nurtured, the common sence, the just do it

and fix it apptitude. Good luck towards 2012, I had planned next year

being my year but now that I have been ruthlessly and financially used

and abused I just wanted to stay until I could get out of the deep

end, however, I won't stay to be humiliated and embarassed. I have run

the show for 19 years and now I am supposed to be the girl who rights

up standard forms and addresses envelopes. They say they want me to be

part of the 'team' but my attitude is in every team there is a ball

boy and it's not going to be me. Nah! M.
