3-D brain scan results & meds suggestions

Hello,

We got the results of the 3-D scan from the Amen Clinic. I was very

pleased and felt even though it was alot of $$ it gave us alot more

information on why my son is a mess..

His scan matched 6 others in their database of kids who had

encephalitis..I thought this was very interesting and want to take this

info back to my pedi! I get a FULL written copy of results in about a

month...

Dr said he felt HBOT was more important than IVIG right now...

In my sons concentration scan it was all RED..meaning he is stressed

and full of anxiety...also the scan showed inflammation in areas.

The meds we will do trials of amantidine(a Parkinsons med) possibly try

a stimulant(since my son can't focus) geodon(my last choice) neurontin

(pretty mild). I really feel I need to used meds to get my son back...

Also he discussed my sons brain chemistry and which meds to steer clear

of (SSRI's for sure) I am glad I did this because the Dr's at Kaiser

would have kept prescribing me meds with no CLUE (they had my try 3

SSRI's and he was a wreck on them) I hope this info can help someone

else!!
