We also live near Emory, and we use Dr. Wesley , who is near

Northlake. They have done a great job with my Aspie. I have also

heard great things about Dr. Ted Levitas (I think he accepts Medicaid

and Beckett?) and Dr. Healy for special needs children.

Regarding a neuropsychiatrist, have you checked with the Marcus

Autism Center? That's the first place near Emory that comes to

mind. I know they offer ABA, and I think they accept Beckett.

It only took me 3 weeks. I had about 50 pages of supporting documentation. Everything was organized, highlighted, color coded, etc. They would have been hard-pressed to deny us.

About the same here has been in for a week. Nobody nobody wanted to help us. The office gave us a phone number to call to sign up which we called for over a week and no answer. I ended up finding out where this person work and knocked on her door. Had to get a supervisor to help us as the lady that did the Beckett wouldn't. Thank you Ogiba jamieogiba@... • 4 weeks later...

The Ped.Dentist that we use for our 3 1/2 yr. old twins, one with ASD, is Dr. Janice Lee across from Children's Healthcare at ish Rite in Atlanta. Peachtree Dunwood Rd. I think the world of her and her whole staff. They work with whatever circumstances your family may be dealing with at the time. She has also done oral surgery at the hospital on one of our sons. Wonderful dentist, surgeon and person! She is also a mother of a 3 year old son.
