Hi all. I need 2 referrals. First, I need a pediatric dentist for my

3 year old autistic son. We're in Alanta, near Emory. He has no real

sensory defensiveness, except his mouth. One of his front teeth has

started looking rather gray, so I'm thinking a visit to the dentist is

in order.

Second, I spoke with someone at the Medicaid medical management group

last week. She said that Medicaid does pay for some ABA, depending

upon the child's " level. " When I asked what that meant, she said he

needed an evaluation by a neuropsychiatrist (as opposed to the

psychologists who diagnosed him). Does anyone know of a pediatric

neuropsychiatrist who accepts Beckett in the general vicinity who

is sympathetic to our special needs kids?

Thanks in advance!

Wodinsky

Dr. "Teddy" Levitas is an amazing pediatric dentist that sees children with special needs. He is in his 80's but doesn't want to stop because he believes in what he is doing. His office is off of Chamblee Dunwoody. His number is .

DDD Foundation Inc. is Dentistry for the developmentally

disabled, 52 Executive Park, S., Suite 5203, ATL, . One of the

counselors at Marcus recommended this place to me for several of my families I

work with. You can also access several others in the Just Kids: Atlanta’s Guide to

Special Needs Magazines that you can find in therapy offices, MD offices, etc.
