They were mostly the direct result of some kind of accident that physically damaged brain cells. A fall down stairs, or on ice, or the result of a wife beating. That is a fact. Today autism is more a result of a high level of toxic mercury in the water, soil, and air. This toxicity is growing as it is used in vaccines, and every power plant burning coal spews it into the air. Big Pharma has done a job lying about it in vaccines, but the fact remains that it's still in some vaccines. If it gets into the brain past the liver filter, then autism results. The curve of mercury pollution in our culture is the same as the curve from 1 in 1000, to 1 in100 or so. You believe what you want, but the above are the real facts. I've been researching and working in this field for over 30 years, and I make no money whatsoever by solving this problem in autistic persons. You can remove that mercury from the brain area by using ascorbic acid vitamin C, or some other chelation chemical and if this is not done, then " Autism cannot be " cured " . I have nothing to gain on this, but Big Pharma has huge amounts to lose when proven in court. 2. Here's another fact. Anyone with ADD to Autism is NOT a dummy, but is usually way above average intelligence, but is " handicapped " by the distortion in the brain, and the stress of both allergy, and toxic minerals. Both have to be solved. Then, you have to solve the problems of nutrition and digestion that were caused by these stresses. 3. Every autistic child is also ADD/ADHD, and this dysfunction is easily solved by either Neurofeedback or my Neuroliminal Training. Both change brain waves, but Neurofeedback is very expensive in equipment and " doctor " time which as we all know is very expensive. Raising the SMR brain wave solves allergy stress and loses allergies gradually. Lowering the Theta brain wave increases " attention " and concentration, as NASA proved in the last century. 4. The various drugs from Ritalin to Concerta " apparently " help children, but what they do is " slow their racing (and frustrated) brains down, " apparently " helping them, but in reality, causing more of a problem in the long run. That's proven by hundreds of studies. There are no drugs that do no damage in any " mental " problem. Most drugs cannot even get to the brain because the liver filters them out. If any of those " carping " at what I wrote had taken the trouble to actually download and read my " Integrated 4 Part Therapy for Autism " they would be a whole lot smarter about this whole problem. To state as " fact " things that are not settled facts and to insult those of us who don't blindly swallow everything you claim is arrogant. To assume the only reason someone might disagree with you is because we haven't read your work and need to be made " a whole lot smarter " by basking in your brilliance is arrogant. To throw around terms like " cure " and " brain damage " and to be largely absent any group conversation save promoting your products (the ones you do actually make money on and are clearly working to establish an additional market with on this list by claiming, falsely, that " every Autistic child also has ADD/ADHD " -- which you happen to sell a product for) and to then scold those of us who dare to question your motives as if we were misbehaving children is arrogant. You are not the only expert in this group. You are not the only person with advanced degrees. You are not the only person with ideas and advice to share. You are not the only person who has decades of knowledge in relevant areas -- many, in fact, have years of expertise you do not as we are actually raising children on the Spectrum (and working with students and married to spouses and...) We are not your students. And we, most certainly, are not your children. Treat us with the sort of respect you seem to believe you deserve. If you truly believe the information you have to share with us is meaningful, then engage in the group in a way other than periodically stopping by to drop your " knowledge " on us and telling us to buy your product. Respond to questions and critiques rather than disappearing until the next time you send us an ad. Be here to answer actual questions without referring to your work in the text of your email.
