Guest guest
Hello I'm 3.5 weeks post band op (and 5.5weeks post gall bladder op) and daily for the past week or so, I've had pain in a localised area centre chest, under the breastbone. The pain is distracting, persistent and very uncomfortable. It develops about mid afternoon, and while i've tried to determine the cause i'm not having much success doing so. It doesn't matter whether i have mush or fluids for lunch. Could it be poor posture? (I have a sedentary job). I did a PB (my first and only) 2 days ago but this was because i became engrossed in a phone conversation while i was eating lunch and swallowed without chewing enough. It wasn't the best feeling i'll admit, and hopefully i've learnt my lesson about distractions during mealtimes. I kept my cool and didn't tense up so i think this helped to handle it. Can't say i was pleased it occurred though. I have had a trouble-free time up to now, been observing the rules so would be pleased if anyone could shed some light on this for me. Thanks Di Has anyone any ideas as to the cause
