Guest guest
D This site uses 50% citric acid instead of 10%. The activation is 1 to 1 not 5 to 1. I use the 1 to 1 now so much easier. To make 50% citric acid mix 1 to 1. So 1 tablespoon citric acid 1 tablespoon distilled water. Wait 20 seconds for activation. This is one of Jim's new protocol to. http://mmsnews.org/NEWS010.htm#NewProtocols http://mmsmagic.wordpress.com/2010/03/24/jim-humble-mms-news-april-2010/ New Citric Acid Concentration The new protocols recommend a 50% citric acid solution, which is easy to mix. You can mix by volume, equal parts of citric acid powder and distilled water and use it in the same type of dropper bottle. If you do not have citric acid powder, you must keep using the lemon juice or vinegar at the old ratio of 5 drops of lemon juice to 1 drop of MMS. Mix a separate small bottle of citric acid solution of 50% citric powder and 50% water. Jim likes to add a few drops of green food coloring to the citric(one drop of food coloring for each ounce of liquid) to keep you from making a mistake in the mixing. Label the 50% solution so that you don't confuse it with the normal bottle of the 10% citric acid. With the new solution, it is easier to count the drops and you use the same number of MMS and citric acid drops, so there is less to remember. A big advantage is that the mixture activates faster, in 15 seconds, so the preparation is easier and faster to take. This is especially important now with the hourly doses so that you can take a travel kit of MMS and citric and prepare your drops wherever you are more conveniently. Prepare the dose in this manner: If you are going to take a 3 drop dose, put 3 drops of MMS1 in the corner of a clean dry glass, then add 3 drops of 50% citric acid on the MMS1 drops and shake the glass while tipped. Wait 15 seconds as the solution turns brown. > > This is confusing, this site recommends waiting 20 seconds then drinking the mixture rather than the 3 min Jim recommends or the 10 min that Tom recommends... > > --- In , " healinghope " <mfrreman@> wrote: > > > > http://mms-lab.com/make-a-ph-booster-with-mms/ > > http://mms-lab.com/11-mms-system-and-how-to-use-it/ > > http://mms-lab.com/mms-protocol-for-flu-strains/ > > >
Guest guest
Hello DD, There is some confusion on that. It seems that Jim Humble considers proper activation based upon color change. When using 10% citric acid, the color change occurs over about a 3 minute period. However, when you use 50% citric acid, the color change is quicker. Industry has taken a different approach. They measure effectiveness of the solution. The most effective activation time is 10 minutes. The other confusion comes from the amount of activator to use. Jim Humble started out using vinegar to activate. Vinegar is about 5% acetic acid. Jim Humble was in a hurry, so he upped the activation ratio to 1:5. That is 1 part sodium chlorite to 5 parts acid. When he changed to using citric acid, he failed to research all of the industrial testing that has been done on finding the most effective ratio of acid to sodium chlorite. His idea was that if 1:5 worked for 5% acid, it should also work for 10% citric acid. He finally backed down when people started using 50% citric acid. The most effective solutions that contain the least amounts of impurities are made using a 1:10 ratio when using citric acid crystals. That is 1 part citric acid crystals to 10 parts sodium chlorite. If you use 50% citric acid the ratio changes to 1:5. That is 1 part 50% citric acid to 5 parts sodium chlorite. If you use 10% citric acid the ratio changes to 1:1. That is 1 part 10% citric acid to 1 part sodium chlorite. The testing that I have done involving activation ratios have revealed that when you use the industrial ratios and times the solution is about 30 - 40% more effective than using the MMS protocol ratios and times. Some people are sensitive to citric acid, and I think it is better to use a more effective and more pure solution than one that changes color quickly and ends up with excess citric acid and other impurities in it. Guest guest
Thanks healinghope for your response,Still some confusion here,  Jim recommends 1 to 1 with 50% citric acid but Tom if I read things correctly recommends 5 to 1 part citric acid and a 10 min activation.Which is correct or is there much difference which method you use ? The hardest part is finding the corner of the glass to put the drops...  Darreld> > >> > > http://mms-lab.com/make-a-ph-booster-with-mms/> > > http://mms-lab.com/11-mms-system-and-how-to-use-it/> > > http://mms-lab.com/mms-protocol-for-flu-strains/> > >> >>
Guest guest
DD I have went by Jim's recommendation and writings. The new protocol is much easier on the body, but you still may experience herxing or a healing crisis if you will. Lyme is known for a healing crisis. I hope you find the corner of the glass:) If taste becomes and issue you can capsule the mms1. Another reason I like the 50% citric acid protocol. http://www.austinburg.com/Your%20Health/herxheimer_reaction.htm > > > > > > > > http://mms-lab.com/make-a-ph-booster-with-mms/ > > > > http://mms-lab.com/11-mms-system-and-how-to-use-it/ > > > > http://mms-lab.com/mms-protocol-for-flu-strains/ > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
DD This was before Tom was here for advice, in fact this was before I even found this group. I knew humble has tested this among many so I took his writings and went with it. > > > > > > > > > > http://mms-lab.com/make-a-ph-booster-with-mms/ > > > > > http://mms-lab.com/11-mms-system-and-how-to-use-it/ > > > > > http://mms-lab.com/mms-protocol-for-flu-strains/ > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
DD I might also add the bathes in mms1 were wonderful for the lyme lesions and aches and pains. I did this with the protocol. Also adding msm I felt was important. http://jimhumble.biz/biz-tubbath.htm > > > > > > > > > > http://mms-lab.com/make-a-ph-booster-with-mms/ > > > > > http://mms-lab.com/11-mms-system-and-how-to-use-it/ > > > > > http://mms-lab.com/mms-protocol-for-flu-strains/ > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Thanks Tom for all wonderful information you give here, what I think I will do is use your activation method when I'm not in a hurry and Jim's when I need to get somewhere in and hurry. And don't get me started with ml vs oz vs drops, I'll never figure it out... I think I've lost to many brain cells... Guest guest
healinghope I only used lemon juice in the beginning and wondered why people found the taste a problem, then I tried the citric acid and understood. But with 1 to 1 protocol the critic acid isn't so bad. I found a square glass so I can put the drops in a corner... Guest guest
Darreld Glad to hear the glass has a square to it. > > > > > > > > > > > > http://mms-lab.com/make-a-ph-booster-with-mms/ > > > > > > http://mms-lab.com/11-mms-system-and-how-to-use-it/ > > > > > > http://mms-lab.com/mms-protocol-for-flu-strains/ > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
