Guest guest
Hello Brad, The Jim Humble story makes perfect sense to me... except for the science and chemistry parts. It is not unusual for necessity to cause someone to look at things from a different perspective and " discover " new applications. Prospectors are " trained " to read the land. That is how you find gold. It also makes you observe and take notice of your surroundings. The most likely reason you still have the trots is that MMS removed the entire flora and some of the mucous lining of your colon. Without the beneficial bacteria to break down your food, it simply passes right through you. You may want to look into a regime of probiotics under the supervision of someone that understands how they work inside the body. Simply adding them to your diet may not be enough. You may have to follow some specific instructions to get your normal flora back in shape. While I totally agree that it is better to " test the waters " rather than simply diving in, I have to tell you that ozone, in the hands of someone who is not well trained in it, scares the crap out of me... Guest guest
Hi Brad, Have you used a high potency multi-strain probiotic (refrigerated is best) to ensure adequate levels of beneficial gut bacteria? Carole in OzEideann & Fionn (Tristania GSDs)carole@...www.berigorafarm.com.au Hello, To everyone out there using MMS or thinking about MMS I would highly recommend you dig for answers. Face the facts, the entire Jim Humble story is a joke. Read it and listen to your heart - it just doesn't add up. Maybe someone figured out that MMS works pretty well and they made up a great story that people might buy without question and the real "inventor" could avoid the legal system while getting their medical discovery out to the world. However, Gold Miner, Africa, etc. just doesn't add up. So, I did use MMS and I think it helped, however, it really is like sending in a nuclear bomb to kill an ant and the side-effects might be more than you bargained for. I've tried a lot of things, but it wasn't until I did MMS for an extended period (on and off for about a year because it was not curing). I got up to 15 drops using the capsule method. Yes, I got the trots, but more importantly, they are still around. Is it IBS or did the MMS do damage to GI tract - I'm not sure. Blood test indicate that I have not damaged the colon lining, but not sure what is going on. And yes, it did all start with MMS and I've been off of it for a year. I also became a bit anemic meaning the iron in my blood dropped - which an oxidizer will do. So, just be very careful and dig, dig, dig for answers. If you see a Raving Good Review or a post - contact the poster and ask them for all of the details and any possible side effects they are experiencing. Many of us want to preach about new things we are trying or experimenting with before the results are fully in. Again, I believe I did get some benefit from MMS, but I would only ever use it as a very last resort. There are other oxidative therapies like ozone water, ozone cupping, etc. that are not nearly as harsh on the system. There are simple things like baking soda which help greatly and are gentle. You may be ridiculously ill with CFS, Morgellens, Herpes, HPV, Lyme, HIV, Cancer, etc., but I would request that you too dig for answers. I'm not knocking MMS, but I do believe that it is far too powerful to be used internally. You may have given up hope on life and are willing to try anything but please consider - "If I knew I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself." Do not rush in, and if you have questions, don't be afraid to ask. If you don't get a response that may be an good indicator. Remember the Tortoise and Hare - slow and steady always wins the race and the "quick fix" rarely works. Guest guest
According to Duncan Crow, taking inulin (a not expensive supplement from a local health food store) for a few weeks before starting any probiotic regime is a very good idea. Apparently the inulin sets up a hospitable environment for the good bacteria to take hold and grow.
