Guest guest
My daughter ie is Autistic. But so gifted with Music! ie has had Sensory Integration at Shenandoah University; Music Therapy which promoted her speech return; Auditory Integration therapy, which helped her tune out sounds in her environment for better concentration in class. ie's IEP includes continued sppech, PT , OT and One-on-One Autism Memntor Aide that accompanies her outside the special ed classroom (integration into regular classroom and regular students), because she can not pick-up on social cues and has no concept in parking lots or crossing the street. All her regular class studies are modified with the Special Ed Teacher to accomodate ie's learning style. Hope you all are doing well, glad to be here and have a chance to talk with you all, and share all you have to offer, through your experiences. ie, (My fiancee and ie's Step Dad to be)and me, Yesterday was history...........tomorrow is a mystery..........TODAY'S the GIFT, that's why it's called the PRESENT!!!!!
