Hi all! I'm Heidi and I haven't posted in a while. Some of this post

is for newbies looking for info, and partly a question. My surgery

was almost 4 months ago. I've lost 78 lbs. and I feel good - and look

dang good, lol. I walk, but I haven't been working out at the gym.

Honestly, I'm afraid of having gas there! I'd love to take a yoga

class, but I'm worried that flexing and relaxing my core could be an

issue, lol. I'll wait until things are a little more regular and

settled.

My skin is a little loose and soft on my arms, hips, and tummy, so

I'm using my big rubber tube thing for resistance. I go to school, so

I walk and walk. I'm losing weight all over (and not too much in the

boobs - yay, lol), but my hernia that Dr. K repaired is worse than

before. So, my stomach has this weird shaped bulge which is making me

look bigger than I am. It looks like it's getting bigger, but really

it's just the fat going away! And it kinda hurts. I have to wait

until I'm done losing weight to have the surgery to repair the hernia

(I figure it should be done with the tummy tuck - and I'm going to

get the mesh).

But is there anything I can do until then? I haven't done crunches,

but should I? Will it make it worse? I've worn the binder, and have

switched to a bodyshaper. I have a cold and am coughing a lot...still

holding myself in when I cough. Suggestions?
