I can't smell it, and the pig lays on it. The dogs aren't adverse to it either.

My " opinion is that so little is released, and so small amount is actually there

volumewise, that its not a lot of gas. I wouldnt put it in a closed stall for

any length of time, but most barns are airy, or have a ventilation system

Redmond also makes a feed conditioner that is nothing but bentonite, and they

also market bentonite/diatomaceous earth feed conditioners here.

I take french montmorillonite myself occasionally as a detox.

Calcium Bentonite is " dirty " if it isn't processed, and processing leeches

minerals. Sodium Bentonite is great if it's deep mined, but swells to like 15

times its dry size. It can still be used internally to great effect. The

montmorillonite is real clean and doesn't swell, and has the same benefits.
