Guest guest
I can't smell it, and the pig lays on it. The dogs aren't adverse to it either. My " opinion is that so little is released, and so small amount is actually there volumewise, that its not a lot of gas. I wouldnt put it in a closed stall for any length of time, but most barns are airy, or have a ventilation system Redmond also makes a feed conditioner that is nothing but bentonite, and they also market bentonite/diatomaceous earth feed conditioners here. I take french montmorillonite myself occasionally as a detox. Calcium Bentonite is " dirty " if it isn't processed, and processing leeches minerals. Sodium Bentonite is great if it's deep mined, but swells to like 15 times its dry size. It can still be used internally to great effect. The montmorillonite is real clean and doesn't swell, and has the same benefits.
