Guest guest
Interesting you should mention muriatic acid Tom. I have a question about something I did some 30 years ago. I had discovered the cleaning ability of muriatic acid bc of a cleaning company I worked for. We used it to remove scale in shower stalls and tubs. I was cleaning a particularly caked shower stall, poured muriatic acid then got the bright idea to add bleach. I know I know...i only did it once. Being in a small space, shower stall, the cloud that happened before I could even pull my head back, well, I got a huge whiff. For days I could barely breathe. It was like a ton of bricks was sitting on my chest. I never forgot that. Someone said I made mustard gas but how would I know. It was very scary at the time. What exactly did I create in that 'bomb' and what did my lungs go thru at that time? This would answer a question that is 30 years old. I stopped working with muriatic acid after that btw... Thanks so much, rose
