Guest guest
OH how I can relate! My daughter (11) was sick and home from school all last week. She started feeling better on Friday and whooooosh, her ocd came on so strong. It was hard watching her. She had decided she needed to do some chores to save money for a new computer. She started with lists. All the chores and how much they were worth. Then she started doing everything on the lists, even though they were supposed to be spread out during the week. EVERYTHING! She couldn't stop. I couldn't stop her. She had to do them. She ended up throwing up all over the living room floor that evening. And THAT didn't help.. The next day she decided to teach our cat how to walk on a leash. All day long, the poor cat!!! She wouldn't stop and just got frustrated when the poor kitty didn't want to. Then she decided to make a party for a musik show we were going to watch. She used everything in the fridge! End of evening she threw up again. I hate to say this, but I was so relieved when I drove her to her father's on Sunday (our switch day) and let him take over. Though his way of handling her is driving her to her cousin's house and leaving her there for the week (winter break). Frustrating. I am sometimes so grateful that I can have a week here and there to recover, even though I miss my children, I really need that time. I want to thank all of you that do service for this group! I so appreciate being a part of this. Hugs, --------------------------------- Sök efter kärleken! Hitta din tvillingsjäl på Yahoo!
