Guest guest
Hello Ivan, The 5% solution is actually a 6.25% by weight solution. For example to make 100 ml of this solution you would put 6.25 grams of sodium chlorite powder into a measuring glass and add enough water to make a total of 100 ml. You end up with 100 ml of 5% sodium chlorite. The dilution of 22.4% to 5% is done by simply adding distilled water. For example to make 100 ml of 5% from 22.4% you would put 22 ml into the measuring container and add enough water to make a total of 100 ml. The activation of sodium chlorite with citric acid depends upon the strength of the citric acid. When using citric acid powder, the ratio is 10:1. That means for every 10 parts of sodium chlorite solution you have, you add 1 part citric acid powder. When using 50% citric acid, the ratio is 5:1. That means that for every 5 parts of sodium chlorite solution you have, you add 1 part 50% citric acid. When using 10% citric acid, the ratio is 1:1. That means that for every 1 part of sodium chlorite solution you have, you add 1 part 10% citric acid. The optimum activation time is 10 minutes. The use of these chemicals is where things get difficult. You need to first determine the concentration needed to kill whatever you are after, then you can mix up a solution that has that concentration. The concentration of the sodium chlorite is directly related to its strength. For example the 22.4% concentration has 224000 PPM available chlorine dioxide. The 5% concentration has 50000 PPM available chlorine dioxide. Testing has been done to determine the concentrations needed to kill many of the pathogens in water and on hard surfaces. There is no test data for internal use. Here are some typical examples. To kill Staph on counters you need 30 PPM. To make 1 liter of 30 PPM you would use 1 ml of 5% sodium chlorite. However, to release all of the available chlorine dioxide from the available chlorine dioxide, you would use a different acid to activate. In this case HCl would be used. Getting back to killing Staph, to make 1 liter of 30 PPM using the 22.4% concentration of sodium chlorite you would use 0.22 ml. If you want to kill Candida, you need 100 PPM. With Hepatitis C, you need 1000 PPM. Now, this is where the science comes in. There are many ways to activate sodium chlorite, and each way ends up with something a little different. The goal is to kill off the pathogens, and leave no residue. Since that is usually impossible to do, we settle for the next best thing of reducing the pathogens to a level where they are no longer a threat and try to keep the by products at a minimum. This is why only low concentrations of chlorine dioxide are used for water treatment. Studies have shown that chlorine dioxide quickly breaks down to chlorite, and chlorite can damage the body. By limiting the amount of chlorine dioxide added to the water, the chlorite is also limited. This requires additional treatment steps for the water, but it comes out safe to drink. Water treatment is usually done at somewhere around 2 PPM. Acidified sodium chlorite has a very small amount of chlorine dioxide associated with it, but the chlorous acid is a very strong biostat. In food processing the chlorine dioxide kills off surface pathogens, then the chlorous acid goes to work stabilizing the growth of bacteria on the food. Different methods of activation and different materials used for activation result in differing performance. If you are a sport fisherman and are only out for the day, a simple spray is all you need. If you are a commercial fisherman and want to extend you trip from 7 days out to 16 days out, the process becomes more involved. The rules of oxidation are simple. Identify the pathogen. Determine the strength of the oxidant needed to kill the pathogen and the amount of time it needs to be in contact with the pathogen. Deliver the oxidant in a way that it makes contact with the pathogen in a concentration and for a time high enough to kill it. Unfortunately, there are no studies involving humans ingesting acidified sodium chlorite. With chlorine dioxide, studies have been done and it was found that it is safe to ingest a concentration of 5 PPM for 12 weeks, or a single dose of 24 PPM. Guest guest
Tom, Can you also post the other non human uses for MMS, or AMMS? I am leaving my home for a few days and want to set out the disinfecting amounts, the one where you need to air the house out afterwards. A few Q's. Does this effect plants, fish, or other pets or do they need to be removed? Also, can the different solutions and ways to use and mix them be made into a chart or graph to hang on the fridge? Just thinking out loud. AND, I offered to PLEASE moderate this group weeks ago. I have also been here from the beginning, and have gotten individual attacking emails from things I have posted here. Fortunately, I am not afraid to hit the delete button Kathy ********************************************************************************************************************************* The 5% solution is actually a 6.25% by weight solution. Guest guest
A few Q's. Does this effect plants, fish, or other pets or do they need to be removed? Kathy I don’t know about fish tanks but I do recall he said pets needed a ‘breather’. Don’t know about plants. was working on an ‘easy guide’ few weeks ago…had some special animal issues of her own that took her attention. Maybe she will get back to her easy primer. She does that so well. Don’t know if she planned to include non human uses. I’ll ck my files when I get a chance and pick out the non human uses I have collected so far. rose
Guest guest
I was gathering a lot of the SC information, but when everything heated up here, and got so nasty, I just quit. No sense in coming out with info if it's simply going to be bashed to smithereens. Now that things are calm again I will finish the file and put it in the file section and send a notice to everyone. Samala, That’s great . Hubby asked Tom about using ASC to clean radiators and heater cores in vehicles and hot water tanks. Do you want to include that in your file, if so I’ll forward to you, or would you rather I start a non human use file of what I have so far? rose

Guest guest
Hi Tom, I have to confess I am still somewhat bemused by the MMS thing but am trying hard! I have a 28% solution of sodium chlorite (MMS) and I am assuming - a 10% already mixed solution of citric acid. I have herpes zoster (shingles) of the 'stabbing' pain variety i.e. there are no visible lesions at this time. The question I have is: how many drops would it take to kill or control this virus as it is driving me mad at the moment. I used to use lysine and colloidal silver but that is not working. Do I use - say - two or three drops every two hours on a 1.1 ratio? I am assuming the citric acid I have is the 10% variety as it came with instructions to use 5 citric acid to 1 MMS. as per JH's protocol. I have decided I would rather go your way than the JH way at this time. Many thanks. dee On 20 Aug 2010, at 20:21, silverfox_science wrote: > > Hello Ivan, > > The 5% solution is actually a 6.25% by weight solution. Guest guest
Hello Dee, It would probably be a good idea to continue with the colloidal silver, but you may find a bath more beneficial than ingesting the oxidizer. The bath solution is made by using 5% sodium chlorite and 6% hydrochloric acid. You will have to measure the amount of water that goes into your bath, but for every liter of water you will be adding 0.3 ml of 5% sodium chlorite and 0.3 ml of 6% HCl. Muriatic acid can be found in a building supply store. It is HCl at somewhere around 32%. If it is 32% you can dilute it down to 6% by putting 18.75 ml of the 32% HCl into a measuring device and add enough distilled water to make a total of 100 ml. Measure the amount of water you put into the tub. Mix up the chemicals. Add them to the tub water and take a bath. For example... If your tub holds 70 liters of water you would add the water to the tub. I need to digress here and mention that I am expecting you to use hot water. I had one person think that you had to use cold water and the bathing experience was " less than pleasurable... " OK, now you have 70 liters of water in the tub. Next you need to mix your chemicals. In a glass put 21 ml of 5% sodium chlorite and add 21 ml of 6% HCl. Assuming you mix this in the kitchen, by the time you walk to the bathroom the solution will be activated and you simply pour it into the bath water. Jump into the bath and enjoy it. If you have a septic tank, you will have to neutralize the bath before dumping it. You can use Fruit Fresh for this. Add 4 tablespoons of Fruit Fresh to the bath and stir to mix it in. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then drain. If you are on city sewer, just dump the bath water. The safety issue with this is that you will be exposed to chlorine dioxide fumes. If you notice respiratory distress in any way you will need to get out of the bathroom and get into fresh air. With a bathroom fan running, this should not be a problem, but everyone is different. I always recommend having someone around when you do this. They can pop their head into the bathroom and take a sniff of the air. There should only be a slight odor. If it is strong, you need more ventilation. This is only an issue during the first 5 minutes. I expect you to be in the bath for at least 20 minutes. Feel free to linger longer if you wish. Some people have found relief in a single bath. Others have taken a daily bath for a week before finding relief. Keep in mind that a week of oxidizing baths puts a lot of stress on the body. You will need to have a diet rich in antioxidants and it will also have to be well balanced. A little extra vitamin C and some probiotics will also help keep things balanced. The bath water will have a concentration of 9 PPM free chlorine dioxide when you start. After 20 minutes, the CT will be 180. This is not enough to completely eliminate all of the virus, but it is enough to knock it way down. At this point your bodies immune system will take over. If your immune system is not as strong as it should be, you may have to take a bath a week for a few months as your immune system recovers. Guest guest
Hello , Put water into the tub, add chemicals, get in a soak for awhile, lather up, rinse off, and get out. It is just like a regular bath, but there are some additional chemicals and a soak time involved. Guest guest
Here is the way I bathe and have great success. I do not use any soap, just soak in the MMS. Put no soap or other chemicals in the water. Suggestions for Bathing in MMS Tub Water In addition to taking oral doses of MMS it is possible to absorb MMS through the skin directly into underlying muscle. Whereas oral doses provide Cl02 gas primarily to the red blood cells, MMS that sinks through the skin provides Cl02 gas directly to the liquid plasma of the blood. More Cl02 is circulated and more rapid benefits can be expected. When using this bathtub strategy, your full skin surface will be in contact with Cl02 gas for 20 to 30 minutes. See this alphabetical list of diseases drawn from a catalog of 28,000 skin diseases. Skin Diseases Acne Pustular Actinic Keratosis 's Disease Athlete's Foot Bacterial Vaginosis Carcinoma-Basil Cell Basil Carcinoma Black Heel Boils Candida Groin Candida Infection Carbuncles Chiggers 's Nerves Cold Sores Cysts Dandruff Dermatitis Diaper Dermatitis Eczema Genital Ulcers Grover's Disease Hand Foot Mouth Heat Rash Hives Hydrocystoma Impetigo Insect Bites Irritant Dermatitis Jock Itch Leprosy Lice Lichen Sclerosis Lichen Simplex Lupus Acute Lyme Disease Melanoma Milroy Disease Mites Monkey Pox Morgellons Nail Fungus Nevus Anemicus Open Sores Pellagra Poison Ivy/Oak Pre-skin Cancer Psoriasis Red Ant Bites Ring Worm cea Scabies Shingles Skin Lupus Skin Moles Small Pox Staph Infection Sun Burn/spots Sunburn Syphilis Ticks Vitilligo Warts For some people this strategy has produced a breakthrough. By soaking for 20 minutes in tub water laced with activated MMS, people who had been unable to rise above a 7 drop oral solution were able to increase the supply of Cl02 gas in the blood stream without nausea. Reasoning? Bacteria and pathogens on or below the skin level are killed by the MMS and they move outward, away from the body. Most debris moves outward and floats away rather than being adrift in the blood stream. Do not neglect oral doses during your occasional tub experiences. Take at least a six drop dose just before the tub bath. Don't worry about whether you just ate – or didn't eat. Any Cl02 loss caused by food in the stomach is minor and relatively unimportant. Pathogens removed through the internal use of MMS (as when we drink it) can only get out of the body by passing to the liver and on to elimination. This works fine until you reach the (temporary) nausea barrier. Nausea indicates that MMS is killing more pathogens than the elimination system can handle, resulting in temporary-but-serious nausea. Bathing in MMS water enables cleansing of pathogens that are on the skin surface or just under it. Cleansing at these outer levels seems to avoid overloading the internal elimination systems. Pathogens killed near the skin surface more-often move outward through the skin and float away. Do continue with normal MMS oral doses, of course. 1. WIPE OUT THE TUB. Otherwise the MMS ClO2 gas in the water will go to work on any soap scum and bathtub-ring, reducing or neutralizing the Cl02 available to the body. By the second bath, the tub will be clean due to the MMS cleansing action. Put no soap or other chemicals in the water. Adding more water does not weaken the CL02 that is being generated. Some people add 1/4 cup DMSO. (Not required but it may assist deeper penetration of the Cl02 gas.) 2. ACTIVATE MMS IN A CUP OR GLASS before adding to the tub water. Place 30 drops of MMS in a cup. Add 2.5 teaspoons of lemon juice or citric acid (150 drops). Plan for a 20 to 30 minute tub sitting. If you have open skin sores or severe body wounds, consider reducing the MMS to 20 drops mixed with 100 drops of citric acid or lemon juice (1.5 teaspoons) so that sensations of heat or burning will be reduced. Open sores usually heal quickly due to the disinfecting action of MMS. The 1 to 5 ratio is the normal MMS protocol. 3. MIX THE MMS WITH THE ACID AND SWIRL IN A CUP Wait 3 minutes. While waiting, draw 5 to 8 inches of hot water for bathing. Do not add soap, perfume, shampoo or children's toys. The Amount of water doesn't matter. After the 3 minute wait, then Diseases caused by bacteria or viruses will almost always be resolved through repeated exposure to MMS Cl02 gas. Diseases caused by genetic or nutritional deficiencies may not be helped by MMS because MMS supplies no nutrients. 4. ADD THE ACTIVATED MMS into the tub water. Stir it. Almost immediately all germs in the water will be eradicated. Some companies provide swimming pool systems that use this same strategy. Water does not reduce the amount of ClO2 gas that is being produced. Tub half full or very full doesn't matter because the same amount of Cl02 gas will be produced. 5. LAY IN THE TUB, First on one side, then the other. Splash the MMS water all over the entire body – arms, neck, hair, face – all over. If there is a history of cold sores, then wipe tub water on the lips and nose repeatedly and wherever they were once visible. If water splashes in the eyes, just wipe it away. MMS doesn't harm eyes – unlike shampoo. With a cup pour tub water onto the scalp. 6. ADD MORE HOT WATER. Heat opens the pores and MMS penetrates into the muscles. Massage the scalp with tub water. By the 3rd bath, skin moles may begin to crumble. 7. WIPE AWAY TUB DEBRIS when finished. Guest guest
Hello Healinghope, Once again Jim Humble shows his lack of understanding of these chemicals. The amount of water is critical. In order for an oxidizer to oxidize, there has to be a concentration high enough to kill off the pathogens. 30 drops of MMS activated according to the MMS protocol and put into a tub with 70 liters of water will give you a concentration of about 0.3 PPM free chlorine dioxide. This is better than nothing, but not high enough to really be effective. When removing the pathogens from water they use 2 PPM to give you an idea of how weak a concentration 0.3 PPM is. After purifying water, the goal is to have at least a 0.5 PPM residual to keep the water pure in transit before it is used. The water purification people would love it if Jim Humble was actually correct. If the amount of water didn't matter, they could put 1 drop of activated MMS into the water supply and purify water for a whole city. Sorry, this isn't the way that chlorine dioxide works. Guest guest
" lack of understanding " " was actually correct " k, just trying to get clear on what is considered flaming and blasting which apparently is not that clear to me. seems to me, just seems, that by this criteria I was flamed twice in the last few days but if I was I was cool with it. I don't expect everyone to like me. as long as I like myself that is what is important. I've said everything I wanted to say anyway, need to spend my time tending my own group where going downstream and having a good time rules. rose *hug a smoker*

Guest guest
Hello , When you have too much oxidation in your body, you suffer oxidative stress. This can show up as impaired brain function, damage to blood cells and organs, and a whole list of other problems. Blood tests can be done to check for the number of blood cells, dried blood can be viewed under a microscope, and there are some laboratories that do some other tests. Here is one laboratory that is promoting testing for oxidative stress: http://www.genovadiagnostics.com/files/profile_assets/referenced_materials/oxstr\ ess2_supportguide.pdf You would have to review what they are doing and their references to see if their testing would be of benefit. The Lubbers study on humans ingesting chlorine dioxide in water also had an excellent list of tests for oxidative stress. As far as MMS goes, there are no studies involving humans ingesting acidified sodium chlorite. This means that you are on your own for monitoring oxidative stress in your body. If you do a search on the indications of oxidative stress you will find that they start off with subtle changes in the bodies chemistry. These small changes are difficult to observe without testing. Guest guest
The way I see this none of us would be here talking and healing if not for Jim Humbles findings, and unselfish sharing. Even if we not all agree, we must agree Humbles discovery made this possible. Others argue that chlorine dioxide has been around for years, true, but never used for human disinfection if you will:) until that day in the jungle. > > > > > > Hello Healinghope, > > > > Once again Jim Humble shows his lack of understanding of these chemicals. > > > > Tom > > > > > > --- In , " healinghope " <mfrreman@> wrote: > > > > > > Here is the way I bathe and have great success. Whereas oral doses provide Cl02 gas primarily to the red blood cells, MMS that sinks through the skin provides Cl02 gas directly to the liquid plasma of the blood. Guest guest
Hello Tim, Yes. I have tested that and it seems that the DMSO neutralized the chlorine dioxide. The amount of chlorine dioxide was unmeasurable. Guest guest
Others argue that chlorine dioxide has been around for years, true, but never used for human disinfection if you will:) until that day in the jungle. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> With all due respect Marie, I have stated on numerous occasions that it has been used for 'human disinfection' for at least 20 years that I know of personally. The chemist that donated a huge box of SC had been selling it for at least 20 years, both 28% and 5%. I was given detailed instructions on how to use it for human and animal. This same chemist has been sending SC to Africa for human usage. The SC came with bottles of activator, labeled as such...10% citric acid. I was also given alternative instructions if I wished to use lemon or lime juice, or vinegar. He was not the only distributor selling this, not the only distributor sending donations to Africa for human internal consumption. The SC was labeled oxy/e (5%) and oxy 500 (28%). This is the same distributor that collaborated with other distributors to hire an atty to go up against the FDA to stop an attempt to ban SC. That near miss with the FDA was aprox 2 years ago. Although SC had been used human consumption wise for decades there was a specific date in 1980's, I do not recall the date, where SC was used for treating ppl, not treating water for ppl, but specifically treating ppl. Volumes of records had to be examined till that one special case prior to the date was found. Once that date was found SC was grandfathered in for human consumption. Ppl called this distributor all the time for suggested dosages for cancer, flu, topical treatment for tumors, warts...list goes on and on. I took copious notes of our 2 hour conversation. I have over the years spent many hours discussing SC with this man. It was well documented the possible benefits for certain diseases including malaria and in fact one of the reasons distributors made donations to Africa. This was all happening on a regular basis prior to the jungle discovery. This is all my first hand personal experience with SC and I stand by these facts as true. rose

I was also told that I did not need to activate it unless I really wanted to, felt the need to and was deathly ill as my own body chemistry would activate the SC. rose
Guest guest
Fascinating Tom, So, can you test AMMS, using lemon juice, distilled water, and DMSO like we did in my daughters battle with cancer and see if there was any chlorine dioxide available? If I remember correctly, we use 10 drops of MMS, 30 drops of lemon juice, 3 cc distilled water, and 5 cc DMSO to start with, then I decided to modify it and only use 10 drops of lemon juice as it seemed to make the same amount of gas and took less time to apply and 1 cc of DMSO as I am very familiar that DMSO doesnt have to be alot to work. This made it was less to apply and soak in. We activated the MMS with the lemon juice, waited 5 minutes, then added the water and DMSO and painted it on her skin several times daily, like every hour for 10 hours for 4 days. Then off for a few days, five I think, and repeated. This is what I best remember, but lost the original instructions. As an aside she has been declared cancer free for almost two years now with no other changes made, except for a gluten free diet for 6 weeks about the same time we used the above combination. How interesting to think that the DMSO might alter the MMS and either make a new compound or cause it to dissipate. Also, how long after the two were mixed in your tests was it found to be neutralized? *********************************************************************Hello Tim,Yes.
