Guest guest
Hello Group, Yesterday I posted on my first month check-up, and I appreciate all the encouraging words!! When I went in for my visit, Dr. K had removed my stitch for my feeding tube. It was really bothering me and hurt. He said that the internal stitch was still there and that the tube was not ready to come out. (Only had been 4 week) I have an appointment for Thursday to get it removed, but I wont need that!! Last night when I went to bed, I had felt like someone punched me under my ribs on the left side. This morning when I got out of bed it was very painful and sore. I was getting ready to get into the shower, took my binder off, and my feeding tube fell to the floor???!!! My side was really hard, almost felt like a baseball. It scared me. I called Dee, she told me to put a warm washcloth on it to try and draw out the liquid. I am feeling a lot better, but still sore. Has this ever happened to anyone? I really love this support group, just makes me feel like I have a place to go to when I am feeling nervous or anxious. Someone always knows what to say. I know that I am not alone in this, so thank you everyone for your support.
