Nothing out of the ordinary. Seems way over priced. His units run in the 2000 range…I see others online that actually look bigger, stronger (not all plastic), have multiple filters, for around 200 to 400. There are a number of things you can do to alkalize your water including using mag or salt. Salts have diff ratios of mag so you could if you like pick high mag salt.
