Guest guest
Hi Chris. Your message kind of made me think of my daughter. She doesn't have aspergers but is bipolar in addition to having OCD. She is obviously different at school because she doesn't function like the other kids. She struggles to go to classes and has lots of accommodations. One of her so called best friends is telling people not to like her and not to talk to her because he can't deal with her issues. It makes me so angry at him. I understand that mental illness is difficult to understand, but she isn't hurting anyone and he is trying to turn people against her. It is so hard to watch. Anyway, I think it is difficult for all our kids, whether they have aspergers, OCD, bipolar or whatever. I hope things get easier. Kim In a message dated 5/26/2008 10:45:04 A.M. And it'll upset them and with the Aspie part it often needs explained and taught. But with OCD, it can be treated and beaten back. It's an " illness " that needs to be treated and our kids will be happier without its demands, and it IS *demanding.* **************Get trade secrets for amazing burgers.
