Guest guest
Thanks for the links, much appreciated. Oh, yes, SM was the first thing that came to mind. That's why he was sent to his ped. first. And who knows, may-be it was but the adjustment allowed the body to halt it before it could be dx. And the Mother's very careful use of aspirin allowed the fever to do its job. Prevention is a wonderful thing albeit a bit frustrating :-) Re: colloidal silver Re: colloidal silver In a message dated 3/30/03 12:35:08 PM Eastern Standard Time, drcrandall@... writes: > I need to know if colloidal silver can be given to children. Guest guest
I don't think colloidal silver should be given to anyone. In theory it's an antibiotic; in reality it hasn't proven to be very effective. Dr. s one of the endless health gurus is opposed to it. Did nothing for my CFS after almost 2 years of constant use. > Hello, everyone, > > I need to know if colloidal silver can be given to children. And if so, > how young? Guest guest
Thanks, Liz. I'll suggest that to him Mom. Guest guest
Well, I'm not the one prescribing the aspirin. May-be it wasn't aspirin, but whatever Mothers use when kids have temps, this Mother doesn't give much of it. Guest guest
Thanks for that insight. I've often said, back pain looks like tummy aches, sleeplessness, appetite irregularities, diarrhea, etc. and sore throats!! A spinal adjustment always helps!! Guest guest
Thanks for the laugh. Colloidal silver seems to have the same effect as homeopathic silver , similarly the gold, but some people will not react if they operate on a different type of frequency. Speaking of teaspoons....I believe that is the maintenance dose for an adult, two to three times per day.... I'll have to double check that....ahhhh, here it is.... " Dosage In 1940, R. A. Kehoe reported that under normal circumstances, the average daily intake of fruits and vegetables would provide between 50-100 mcg of silver as a trace element. Since that time, the commercial farm soils of this country have become extremely deficient in trace minerals. Although I do not have authoritative figures for silver, according to the Earth Summit Report, issued in 1992, the levels of soil based minerals in North America have dropped over 85% in the last 100 years. Assuming that our ancestor's diet used to contain trace silver, and that our diet probably has greatly reduced levels, there is a reasonable argument for supplementing with colloidal silver. Two teaspoons of 5 PPM colloidal silver provides about 50 mcg of silver and could be considered a " nutritional " amount, if taken on a daily basis. Any amount above four teaspoons a day or 100 mcg should be considered a " therapeutic " amount. That said, it should not be assumed that electro-colloidal silver is equivalent to or has the same metabolic effect as receiving trace silver from dietary plant sources. But since there are very few plant sources of trace silver available today, colloidal silver is probably the best substitute. If you want to experiment with taking colloidal silver for an extended period of time, stay within the amounts considered to be nutritional. If you want to experiment with larger doses, do so with caution, and only for a day or two at a time. " There is a man on another list at that has been ingesting up to a gallon of CS water per day for about 3 years now with no apparent side-effects.... All things in moderation, eh!? Hope that helps....: ) Khepri

Guest guest
My best to you. Keep us posted on how you do. Especially on what helps! I have three patients with this condition. Guest guest
Hi What about the Budwig diet as my neighbour who has had Ms and fibromyalgia for 26 years is willing to give that a go as she has tried everything else. Guest guest
I think it is just a more expensive way of taking homeopathy but in a very low dose as there is no shaking to strengthen the medicine and no dilution either. Guest guest
Mel, You can call your water department and ask for a copy of all tests and analyses. Not all municipal water is bad. My town's water comes from a remote lake/pond ( no noating or development allowed)and has only chlorine added and has a pH of 7.4. I beleive Dr. says Brita's work great for chlorine if you change the filters at least monthly, ideally weekly. My house, however, has copper pipes, and that needs to be changed.
