I've been posting for over 2 years now and have listened to others who have "RECOVERED" their children like Burle (on Stan';s MB12 website), and "the Commander" and other parents who had posted from this group who all have seen many gains in their children after using Glutathione supplementation for their children with autism.. It is well established among researchers that Low levels of Glutathione are found in the autism population. There are over 60,000 articles on the web on the benefits of Glutathione for over 200 conditions including autism. There are also over 20 books on the subject for sale on Amazon alone...and I bought one by Dr. J Gutman... asked me this summer --Why I use LW Patches over other types for our spectrum disorders.. so ..(After researching I found it was superior for our family) below is my RESEARCH & answer.

But FYI.. I purposely bought an EXTRA membership--for a NON PROFIT site (in honor of my son with spectrum disorders ( Thorpe) from the LW patch company -- that I post with this group --which WE manage & DONATE )100% of the proceeds to ARI for autism research..( You may contact Matt K. at ARI if you want to verify ..it.) Past Donations are over 300.00 dollars and we will be sending another check within a month.

Many others who post having memberships in this group--- have purchased either under the general umbrella of this SAME NON- profit site... Therefore they are also CONTRIBUTING to donations to AUTISM..as the points end up on the NON profit site for autism research... I AM NOT using this group for self interest... and as I said --the others who post about LW are also contributing to research Indirectly. Anyone in the future who becomes a member under someone in this group.. also Indirectly contributes towards autism research..and points accumulate.

Why I use LW Yage Glutathione patches

Hi from Sue, You asked...Why do you use the glutathione patches as opposed to oralsupplements?For many reasons: 1. It muscle tests best for raising glutathione levels more effectivelythan any other source of Glutathione that I know..( oral, liposomal, transdermal, nebulized, precursors, IV, and the newOSR )And my research has validated my muscle testing.(I've been reading that oral glutathione is not as readily absorbedand is often eliminated by the liver before reaching the bloodstream.Cystine is not very well absorbed when taken orally. Therapeutic levels of NAC (N Acetyl L-Cysteine) have been associatedwith cerebral symptoms, nausea, blurred vision and vomiting and canform a red blood cell-derived molecule that makes blood vessels thinkthey are not getting enough oxygen. This can lead to pulmonary arterialhypertension (PAH), a serious condition characterized by high bloodpressure in the arteries that carry blood to the lungs. The resultsappear in the September 2007 issue of the Journal of ClinicalInvestigation . IV Injectable glutathione is degraded by the time it gets to the celland much cannot effectively pass through the cell membrane Injected Glutathione has an extremely short half-life; this leads to areduced efficacy; a study entitled "The level and half-life ofglutathione in human plasma" (available on the internet) states: "In a single self-experiment we investigated thefate of INTRAVENEOUSLY injected glutathione in man. Fig.1shows that asingle dose of 100 mg GSH is rapidly eliminated from plasma. We observea distributionphase within the first 2 min and a clearancein the following 10 min. From the se~og~ith~ca~y plotted clearance phasean apparent half-life of 1.6 min is calculated. Extrapolation of thisstraight line to zero timeshows that the tripeptide distributedcompletely into the extracellular space: if we assess the interstitialplus plasma volume with 21% of the subjects body weight (= 13 liters) weexpected without clearance anequilibrium concentration of 25 wolfi. Itseems that a considerable proportion of the administered glutathione hasbeen oxidized to GSSG, although we cannot exclude that this GSSG mighthave been releasedfrom the ~trace~ular space. Using theborohyd~de reduction method [ 171, no mixed-disulfides could bedetected. In vitro controls with the subject's whole blood or plasmaindicated that neither GSH or GSSGare si~i~c~tly metabolized within 20 min at25 ~mol/l.)2. ( The only exception was when heFORGOT to wear the patch for 3 days ---2 weeks after his onset --thesymptoms started to reappear--- so he put the patches on again andsymptoms went away AGAIN within one day...Needless to say he doesn'tforget to wear the patches now ---as they do so much good for the wholebody . ---but we don't have to wear them as often for maintenance. EVERYTHING i HAVE EVER LEARNED ABOUT GLUTATHIONE TELLS ME IT IS AN UNSTABLE COMPOUND. You cannot even get a compounding pharmacy to make it into shots subcutaneously, only IV's are effective, or so I am frequently told. The oral glutathione oxidises. There are an awful lot of people wanting to make money from autism.THIS REMINDS ME OF THE TD DMPS BY BUTTAR WHO WAS LATER DISCREDITED AFTER MAKING A LOT OF MONEY. WHERE ARE ALL THE DAN DOCS SAYING THIS IS ACE?Correct me if I am wrong!Sue>> You still have the option to tape it to the inside if the T-shirt, allowing it to be over the skin, with out any glue at all!!! That is what I do... not because I would be frightened by the glue content.... but because my kids could always rip it off when I am not watching them...
