Guest guest
Reconsider taking your Gallbladder out. Stones can be dissolved (I believe by injecting a liquid into them) and if absolutely necessary taken out by surgery without removing the Gallbladder. Then you will have to find out why they are being formed in order to avoid it in the future. Otherwise you will be on pills your whole life. 's liver flush could work. From: viajero8 <viajero8@...> Sent: Wed, August 4, 2010 4:11:57 PMSubject: [ ] my expereince with mms i have been suffering from gut dysbiosis for decades. i was constantly sick with headaches and sinus problems. i had taken over 80 rounds of antibiotics in those three decades chasing after what i thought were sinus infections. I had a ct/ivp for kidney stones in 2006. after that i completely changed my life and my diet. at the time, my ct scan (with contrast) showed no sign of gallbladder disease nor any stones. i also had a parasite called blastocystis hominis that has been in my gut since traveling to costa rica in the mid 1990's. i had stool analysis done in 2000 and 2002 which both showed moderate blastocystis. i had the stool studies repeated in 2004 and 2005 which showed no blastocystis whatsoever (i can only imagine it must have been living dormant or symbiotically in my gut). there was some bad bacteria also, but not overwhelming and i had high levels of good bacteria. i also had a pretty good case of candida i imagine. i began taking mms over a year ago at different dosages at different times. at first i had felt better than i had felt in over 30 years. then at higher levels, i always had trouble and backed off to more moderate levels, but stayed on it for the full year. i recently tried the new protocol of three drops every hour for eight hours for three weeks. when i finished that and cut way back to a maintenance dose, i fell terribly ill. i had indigestion, a raw gnawing feeling in my stomach at times and a pain in my back on the left side that would come and go all day. i was also being awakened every night between 4-5 am with terrible a terrible gnawing raw stomach that kept me awake the rest of the night. i finally went to see a physician, did a new stool analysis, ultrasaound, and a subsequent mri. here were the results. stool analysis: all of my healthy bacteria were gone. i was overwhelmed with bad bacteria and the blastocystis now showed many, running rampant. the result of my ultrasound and mri: i now have two large gallstones, one measuring 3 cm and one measuring 2.8 cm. (that's over an inch in diameter each). so you tell me!!! any comments or experience would be appreciated. the only other wild card in this scenario was that i was taking a soil based probiotic, garden of life primal defense ulta. i am not claiming anything. only sharing my experience. i had to go on a drug, iodoquinol to try and get rid of the blastocystis and am now facing the removal of my gallbladder. pretty disappointed. Guest guest
Thanks for relating your experiences. This is why I am on this group to get individual results! Personally, as an herbalist, I have never found long range use of most anything very advisable! If nature wanted or needed the human body or any animal body to thrive and if sodium chlorite was the key to this, I suspect she would have built that into our system. Medicinal protocols should be used sparingly and many times " pulsed " . This is true for herbs and most every thing else I have found in life related to physiology. Your use of it for a whole year under so intensive a regime is alarming to me. Of course, there may be rare exceptions to the above rule, but they are rare. I still think MMS can be quite valuable if used with care and sparingly. After all, that is how Humble originally used it. Human nature has a trend to over-do every thing. More is not necessarily better. my opinion only, doug ----- Original Message ----- >i have been suffering from gut dysbiosis for decades. i was constantly sick >with headaches and sinus problems. i had taken over 80 rounds of >antibiotics in those three decades chasing after what i thought were sinus >infections. Guest guest
80 rounds of antibiotics could have tremendous effect on friendly bacteria as well. Curious if the stones are pigment stones or cholesterol gallstones, the type of stone would make reasoning easier. Researchers believe that gallstones may be caused by a combination of factors, including inherited body chemistry, body weight, gallbladder motility (movement), and perhaps diet. Oxidative stress and lack of antioxidants could possibly cause pigment gallstones, or hemolytic anemia. Once again I must agree with polo and the post, anything that is not a natural part of the human body should be pulsed and used to the minimum for effectiveness. In some situations like lyme where the cure is not known or impossible, control may be necessary, such as my situation. Taking MMS requires use of antioxidant in my opinion, and perhaps even iron. I use black strap molasses for iron, and moringa, Q10, Vit C, and and Vit E for antioxidant. I hope the outcome is good and you find the necessary treatments. --- In , " viajero8 " <viajero8@...> wrote: > > i have been suffering from gut dysbiosis for decades. i was constantly sick with headaches and sinus problems. i had taken over 80 rounds of antibiotics in those three decades chasing after what i thought were sinus infections. Guest guest
Blastocystis very curious about the probiotic, garden of life you were taking, any link you could provide? Once again the form of the parasite is helpful. Being sensitive to oxygen I am surprised with MMS this parasite could thrive. Four commonly described forms are the vacuolar (otherwise known as central body), granular, amoeboid, and cyst forms. The appearance of the organism is largely dependent upon environmental conditions as it is extremely sensitive to oxygen. Whether all of these forms exist in the host intestine is unclear. Due to the uncertain infective nature and transmission pathways of the parasite, there are no widespread public health or prevention strategies directly aimed at Blastocystis. The CDC does list the following, however, as potentially useful preventative and control measures: Handwash with soap and water before handling food and after using the toilet. If employed in a child-care center, also wash after each diaper change even if gloves were used. Avoid potentially infected water and food Wash and peel all raw fruits and vegetables avoid untreated water in countries with less established water-safety standards --- In , " healinghope " <mfrreman@...> wrote: > > 80 rounds of antibiotics could have tremendous effect on friendly bacteria as well. Guest guest
I would also consider adding prebiotics to diet with the probiotics. http://www.npicenter.com/anm/templates/newsATemp.aspx?articleid=28239 & zoneid=2 http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3497077 & CAWELAID=317796790 Prebiotics Where probiotics are the beneficial bacteria found in the intestines 'prebiotics' are special indigestible carbohydrates known as oligosaccharides that feed probiotic bacteria and encourage their growth. Oligosaccharides are found naturally in certain fruit and vegetables, including bananas, asparagus, garlic, wheat, tomatoes, Jerusalem artichoke, onions and chicory. Because of the ability of prebiotics to encourage the growth of beneficial bacteria it is worth considering a supplement when there is a need to improve the gut flora. Prebiotics can be taken on their own or with a probiotic supplement. They have an advantage over probiotic supplements in that there is no concern about oligosaccharides being destroyed while in storage or en route to the intestines through the stomach acid and digestive enzymes. The most common types of prebiotics available in supplements are fructooligosaccharides (FOS), inulin and galactooligosaccharides. As well as, or perhaps due to, encouraging the growth of beneficial bacteria in the intestines, prebiotics have been shown to have a number of other benefits. Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) FOS has been shown in one study in mice to increase intestinal Riga, the body's first line of defense against invaders. In another study using pigs, FOS was shown to increase butyrate concentrations in the large intestine. Butyrate is a short chain fatty acid (SCFA) that helps to maintain the health of the colon. Inulin German research has shown that inulin is effective in improving the composition of the gut flora and reducing the severity of colitis symptoms when tested in rats. In a study assessing the role of common foods in improving intestinal health cheese which contains inulin was found to have a beneficial effect, reducing bacteria and chance of infection28. Galactooligosaccharides In animal studies galactooligosaccharides have shown very promising results increasing populations of both lactobacilli and bifidobacteria and increasing beneficial short chain fatty acids. A mixture of galacto and fructooligosaccharides added to standard infant formulas has has also been shown to increase both lactobacilli and bifidobacteria species in human infants. --- In , " healinghope " <mfrreman@...> wrote: > > 80 rounds of antibiotics could have tremendous effect on friendly bacteria as well. Guest guest
The fact that gut dysbiosis has been ongoing for years could change the balance at anytime. Gut dysbiosis is a condition of microbial imbalance in the intestines. Typically, a healthy person will have an optimal amount of good bacteria and microorganisms to combat any unhealthy bacteria, parasites, and yeasts in the lower digestive tract. A person who has gut dysbiosis has a condition in which one or more harmful microorganisms have upset this balance, which is usually maintained by the good bacteria. Dysbiosis of the gut has many possible causes. Often, when a person is taking antibiotics, these drugs destroy beneficial bacteria along with harmful ones. If the good ones are slow to replenish themselves, Candida — a harmful yeast — or other damaging organisms may grow rapidly. This can cause an imbalance, and symptoms of gut dysbiosis. --- In , " viajero8 " <viajero8@...> wrote: > > i have been suffering from gut dysbiosis for decades. i was constantly sick with headaches and sinus problems. i had taken over 80 rounds of antibiotics in those three decades chasing after what i thought were sinus infections.
