Guest guest
Does anyone know what could cause one’s lips to have a red ring around them, making them look extra large and extra red? It’s like I put lipstick on and a liner around the outside of my lips, but I didn’t. They don’t itch or tingle or burn at all. However, they are dry, the edge of my lips has cracked open a little, and it hurts. It all started about 2-3 weeks ago when I first have dry and sight cracked lips. I thought this is caused by B12 deficiency and have been taking B12. It helps with my lips dryness but not with the red ring. I also put vasaline on it before bedtime which helps but not 100%. Also, MMS does not help. I suspect it may be caused by lyme die off effects from MMS. Any advice. Thanks. Jen -
Guest guest
I haven't posted before, but read messages with interest. I suffer form the same problem and after years of trying everything to cure it, I discovered that it is due to a lack of essential fatty acids. I now take 2 tablespoons of Barlean's Flax Oil mixed with the correct ratio of cottage cheese every day and I don't suffer anymore - (no dandruff either incidentally). This is part of the Budwig protocol and I can't live without it - literally, I can feel my lips just start to crack, and no amount of externally applied lip balm helps - well it does for about 5 seconds and then I need more. The Flax Oil takes a while to build up in the body, but I feel improvement after about 5 days. If you want to know more, information on everything I've mentioned, there is loads of info on Google.Hope it helps.Tina xOn Wed, Sep 29, 2010 at 1:00 AM, jenny goodhealth <jenny_goodhealth2@...> wrote: Does anyone know what could cause one’s lips to have a red ring around them, making them look extra large and extra red?
