Any of your kids have vertigo/ motion sickness in cars, rides, etc? Any therapies that have been successful? We are getting a eval by physical therapy soon due to this......

My daughter does get motion sickness or a migraine from car rides and things like 3D movies or even a visit to the planitarium. We use avoidance and fresh air for therapy, but I am curious to hear what the physical therapist would have to say.

 

Any of your kids have vertigo/ motion sickness in cars, rides, etc?  Any therapies that have been successful?  We are getting a eval by physical therapy soon due to this......

My son had vertigo at age 3.  He would say "I'm falling!" and we

didn't know what he meant.   A trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium

(floor to ceiling shark tanks!) was terrifying for him at this time

and only later did I understand why :(       I later did some

research and there was an explanation for this related to

"everything" he had going on...  but I can't remember what it was.
