A friend of mine tried it as a general detox and it

made her sick, which I guess is supposed to mean she

needed detox. I consider it akin to cat's claw. My

alternative doctor wants me to build up my system

first, then try the detox.

I use it in addition to LDN for Crohn's. It is Chlorine Dioxide that

kills most pathogens in the body. It does seem to do just that. I

have never heard of any serious side effects, although it is powerful

and needs to be used carefully.

My wife is taking it for chronic Lyme disease. It is working well so far.

If MS is bacterial or viral in nature, it could help. This has been

proposed in the past. If you want some more info on LDN, please send

me your questions in a private message. Do not want to clutter the

LDN site with MMS stuff.

If I had MS, I would try it. But I have used many unconventional

treatments.

Yes I do. It's awesome. But if you have hormone issues like adrenal fatigue or

hypothyroidism it will lower them so those with those issues should not take it.

It's strong so you have to be careful! But it works.. Well..

I'd love to hear about your experience with MMS. What did it do for you?

I was thinking of trying it - but I didn't know I couldn't with adrenal fatigue

or hypothyroidism.

Does it lower cortisol?

Hello All. has anyone heard of anybody who had a success with using MMS (miracle

mineral solution) by Jim Hamble? I have been on his website and also watched

some videos and it sounds very promising.. he has cured even cancer and

maleria.. I have ordered 2 bottles of it and looking forward to try it. It says

that it naturally get rids of all the toxins and very helpful for all autoimmune

diseases.

Update on me: i have been taking Minocycline for almost a year now, my condition

improved i was almost close to remission but recently something has changed that

now a lot of joints especially my hands are very stiff and lots of inflammation

again :(  Maybe it is due that i have tried to switch from generic name mino to

brand mino and i think my body did not like it too much. Also i have recently

added LDN at night time and hoping it will help some...

Hi Suzanne,

I have MMS but I bathe in it. I've been meaning to try it orally but

settled for doing the bath for now. It seems a safe way to start the

process and give my body a chance to try it out, get used to it, etc. BWT,

I have Lyme's and am currently hypothyroid (was hyper for a short time, hypo

before that). I previously tested positive for Lupus and RA, and had

Raynaud's for several months and believe I was experiencing Sjogren's

because of the black stains around my teeth at the gum line. Everything

cleared up after using Minocin; I took it for almost three years (100 mg

daily) {which didn't cause a herx but did gray-up my teeth; I may have done

just as well taking it every other day). The anti CCP test came back

negative for RA so I may have tested positive as a result of Lyme's. I am

also chemically sensitive and have to be careful with what I eat. Sigh.

Dr. Mercola recommends Astaxanthin for inflammation and I started taking it.

I also take Chelex (I get it from my acupuncturist) and turmeric daily (I

actually put turmeric powder in my protein shake twice a day - along with

Cinnamon.) I probably take other anti-inflammatory things but my brain can't

recall them for now. I also find that saunas are helpful to rid the body of

toxins which can cause the joints to hurt. I did my first ozone sauna last

week and I felt really good afterward. I also soak often in a hot tub of

Epson salts and peroxide.

I believe in the MMS product; I just haven't gotten up the courage (or felt

badly enough) to ingest it. The 70-year old man who does my body work takes

it! El

After being on LDN for 6 months (AP 7 months) I wasn't feeling good (or bad)

from it, so stopped it about 3 weeks ago when time to reorder. So far, nothing

good (or bad) from stopping it. With limited income, and on so many

supplements, I'm just starting to toss a coin to see what to order and what not

to order! I often wonder if I'm assimilating all these supplements I take??

A lot of people initially feel worse on ldn. Are you on the ldn list for RA?

Hi ,

I do not know too much about it but I'll see what I can find out. I

basically sat in a box-like thing with my head sticking out --- and sweated.

It reminded me of the sweat boxes you might see in an old black and white

movie only modernized/streamlined. I think there must have been two

settings on the side; one for a normal sauna and one to set the ozone level.

We put a towel between the opening of the contraption and around my neck so

I didn't smell any ozone. Does that help at all? Are you looking for a

make/model? El

Suzanne,

I want to respond to your post about having been close to remission and

then experienced a setback. We often refer to the healing journey on AP

as " Three steps forward -one step back " . It is not linear. You still may

experience fares, but they are apt to be less severe and there is longer

time between them. I know though of how fear comes up with each flare

wondering if the AP quit working. Also, if you just switched to brand

from generic you may experience a Herxheimer reaction rather than a

flare. This would show you that the brand mino is working. Lowering the

dosage may help alleviate symptoms in that case. You can read about

Herxheimer reaction at www.rheumatic.org

Take care,

Ute

I agree ,,. it's not uncommon to experience a plateau or even a setback around

the 12 mth mark, however with changing the brands of abx it is more probably a

herx.

Every time I tweak my meds I herx, my AP Dr believes a tweak of meds is

sometimes necessary to target the co-infections we have but I never look forward

to those times because I know I will herx...lol

Not to worry, just keep doing what you are doing - you will come through it!!
