Guest guest
Hi , I am currently working on my RA with MMS. My partner, who is a Homeopath, used to keep goats and advises against using it on ruminants. She does say however that a good homeopathic vet should be able to sort it out for you. Good luck . --- In , " laura " <montemomma2002@...> wrote: > > I have recently turned farmer and have aquired a bunch of ruminants.Im wondering if anyone has ever treated these animals with MMS?I worry about the wisdom of using it internally for them because of the reliance of bacteria as part of their digestive process. > > There is a viral infection that goats Get called CAE that causes a form of arthritis that causes the goats life to be short and gradually become more and more debilitated so that most owners put them down after a few years.I think MMS holds great possibilities for curing this disease but if their digestive process ever halts they can die wihin 24 hours. That could happen if the friendly bacteria is eliminated by MMS. > One of my friends has a goat with this disease and she is interested in possibly using it to cure her gaot.I know of someone who cured her rheumetoid arthritis using MMS , so maybe it would work for the goaty form. > > IN TX >
Guest guest
I have used MMS1 on cows and horses never goats, others have. You might email this site and get some feedback. I also use homeopathic medicine for myself and pets. http://mmsforhispaniola.com/?p=833 Try giving your pet, dog, cat, bird MMS in their drinking water to keep the bowl clean as well as controlling parasites and boosting the immune system. Once a week, I give my 100 lb. dog a 6 drops dose orally. If you have a smaller animal, you might want to give less drops due to weight. If your animal is ill, then you need to follow a protocol of 2-3 drops every 2 hours 5-6 times a day for 1-2 weeks depending on how severe the illness is. If your pet experiences excessive diarrhea or vomiting, cut the drop amount in half for a day or so then slowly move back up to 2-3 drops 5-6 times a day and stay there for a week. If your pet is well, then go to the maintence dose,(6 drops) a night a few times a week or every night. It won't do any harm but, just help your pet. If you use MMS with your pet, you'll see an increase of energy! Note: If your pet is smaller than 100 lbs., then just back off 1 drop per 15 lbs. This is a basic rule of thumb. You need to adjust the dose based on your animal's response to the MMS just as humans do. Everybody is different. Animals are no different ,except their immune system seems to be naturally stronger than man's. Note: MMS can be used with any animal, cow, pig, goat, horse, chicken as well. It is good to keep the water clean! As always, if you have any questions about MMS or it's use feel free to e-mail us or leave a comment and we'll get back to you promptly. Stay informed and take control of your OWN health care and that of your pet! > > IN TX >
Guest guest
I have raised dairy goats since 1987. The CAE virus is more like HIV than rheumatoid arthritis. I have no idea if MMS would work, but I don't see why not. I'd treat as I would for HIV. Two years ago, I had a doe with a dead kid. It was a toxic mess. I tried everything that wasn't antibiotics with no results. I gave her two doses of MMS of 15 drops activated based on her weight. The first dose was at night and the second the next day. It was a case of she was going to die if I didn't do anything. She survived and her constant cough disappeared as well. Guest guest
Thanks to Kieth, Healing hope and Carmen! I passed the info on to my friend. I think I would use it for goats as an emergency treatment or as a last resort before I had to put down a goat if I had one with CAE.I would worry about a long term usage affecting their intestinal Bacteria.I suppose in a worse case scenario The Rumen could be restarted by borrowing some cud from another healthy goat. I've got 2 goats so If I had to that might be worth the chance in a life threatening situation for the goat. Guest guest
I know nothing about goats, but I would imagine that unlike humans who sanitise their food, goats would quickly pick up a lot of replacement soil based organisms (SBO's) even if MMS did imbalance their guy bacteria. Guest guest
Hi there, I'm new to this forum, but have been using mms for quite some time now... I have a goat that has CL (very deadly goat disease) and rather than putting her down I wanted to try mms on her... this disease causes nasty cysts full of puss, there is no known cure, and is very contagious... I have been giving her mms for a couple of months now, and seems to be doing fine. Jim Humble said I should give her hourly doses, but that is not possible around here, so the dosages have been 5 drops 3 times a day, in a syringe with water... by the way the goat loves it and sucks it out of the syringe happily every time. She did have the runs for the first couple of days, and I started her out at 2 drops 3 times a day and worked her up to 5. The challenge with CL is there is no test to prove a goat negative after being positive as the blood test is an antibody test... so the only way I will know she is cured is if she never gets another cyst... all I can say is her 2 cysts that she had healed up, and she has not gotten any more since... her weight is good, and she looks like a normal goat... So, to answer your question, NO it will not hurt the goat, and very likely could help a lot... I believe your friend could even go up to 3 drops per 25lbs of body weight 3 times a day, OR try to do 4 drops per hour as much as possible... I gave it to one other goat this spring that had a nasty mastitus infection, she was milking blood out of one side of her udder... the mms cleared it up in just a few days. Hope this helps.
