Response to the Earthquake in Peru

On August 15th, Peru was

struck by a 7.9 Earthquake. As we all know, Ica was the worst hit.

There are more than 500 dead and more than 1000 injured. Allot of their

homes have been destroyed. They have no where to sleep. Others sleep

outside of what is left of their homes in fear of looters. They don't have

any water or electricity. Some help has arrived from our near by

countries. God Bless them. Other items that were sent like rice and

food did not make it. I heard in RPP

(Peru's live radio) that a truck full of food was assaulted and did not make

its

final destination. The Peruvian Government is doing what they can to have

this under control. I just DO NOT understand how a some peopel have no

heart to take advantage of the pain of others. They will have to face God

on their judgment day. Let's pray for the death and the victims of this

disaster. God Bless.
