Guest guest
I had the VitaMix years ago, had a stainless steel container with a spigot and then the BlendTec HP3. I actually like the HP3 the best but both are loud. The HP3 mixes smoother. The reason to get a high speed, 3 hp blender - if you do green smoothies it break down the cells of the produce so you get more good enzymes etc. that is the only reason I would spend these kind of money on a blender. However I have a friend who is getting for Christmas the Omni V 3 hp which is like the other two mentioned but you can get them from $238-280. I don't know about the noise warranty appears to be the same as my BlendTec. Can get with a BlendTec square container, no tamper or a VitaMix type container with tamper. I think they have one type of container - maybe their own brand. You might want to read about test on this website - http://3blenders.com/index.html Those I know who bought Montel blenders have returned them, had all kinds of problems. I am sure they will mention them on that website. Someone mentioned to me about a new blender 3 hp. I think they said JTC brand, wanted to know if I had tried it, had not even heard about it. Good luck, Flo in Texas
