Hello ce,

I believe Oxine is used as a teat dip to eliminate mastitis. It is a 2% sodium

chlorite solution and is used topically.

Besides MMS, you might want to consider good old pokeroot as a specific for mastitis.

I am impressed by the concept of MMS and will soon try some myself. My neighbor is an organic farmer with Holstein cows and wants to know what posology would be suggested with MMS1 or/and MMS2? A Holstein cow averages 1500lbs. And does anybody know of someone who might have tried it and what were the results. It would be great if we had a way of getting around the anti-biotics.

there is a raw dairy in the mountains of South Carolina that has been using MMS for years with their operation. Daddybob a member /moderator at this group went to check out the dairy to make sure the cleanliness factor was there. He spoke tpo the owner about MMS shortly after Jim Humble introduced the concept . The dairy man began to laugh and showed Bob the 2 bottles of solution he uses to disinfect the counters and maybe even the teats of his cows. -Chlorine Dioxide and a acid activator.

He also told Bob about saving one of his cows by injeting an infected teat with the chlorine dioxide. This was years ago. Maybe Bob could give more details so your friend could contact the dairy .

Hello all,

I am new to this group so please accept my apologies if this question has already been addressed.

Thanks for your help.

Regards

I have used it on my goats for mastitis... I gave 5 drops twice a day internally (would be a lot higher for a cow, I gave my horses up to 30 drops twice a day), and sprayed the udder (30 drops in water in a spray bottle). Healed up really fast. I would think you could also inject it into the teat, at a lower dosage... a couple drops for a cow...
