Guest guest
You know it. My migraines almost disappeared completely when I got rid of 120 pounds of ugly fat due to divorce! (LOL). On a more serious note, maybe Deflect would help? I know not now, but since it was due to her eating something bad, you never know. The only thing I can think of is homeopathically; Rhonda could certainly help with that. I've gotten rid of a couple using the homeopathic remedy Iris; however, you would have to match the remedy with the symptoms and Rhonda is infinitely more qualified than I am; I'm just a informed layperson. Maybe I do too , and never made the connection. It sure has been some week weather wise it went from 20 degrees up to 50 and then rained for a 24 hrs. I was going to fast today , but couldn't. I am eating only food that never gave me any problems.. I am also drinking a feverfew tea blend called " Head Aid " . It's 3PM and I got up for the tea. I am going back to bed. I feel angry about the wasted day. Thank You ! Love to you too , Joyce

Isn't there one thing that stands out that would be easy to type ? I had my 1st migraine after I took Zantac (a drug for stomach ulcers) I have had them ever since. My Dr. said the Zantac tripped a " switch " in my brain. it has been horrible. I have lost time as well as the pain involved-it is a miserable condition. I was the only girl in our family NOT to have them ! So I guess it's genetic. Both my sons and daughter all have them. I don't know about the emotional part I haven't had any changed in my life. I am actually feeling better than I ever have. More aware it has been like coming out of a trance. I keep thinking a Pepsi will make it better! Guest guest
I ordered the blood type encyclopedia from Daldon's Book Store. I think it is going to be a real plus to have it. Most book stores will order it if they don't have it. K OKC > > , > > __________________________________________________
Guest guest
When is your next concert? I'm taking violin lessons. LOL I thought it would be a good stress reducer until she told me I had to play in a recital May 3. Good grief. Now I'm obsessing about practising. I'm not even going on Spring Break with my violin. hahaha That will probably give me a migraine. Did all of you know sings? She has a gorgeous voice. I have her CD. Guest guest
Hi Joyce, I'm a rook around here (first post), but I do have the new encyclopedia. For headaches with Type O's, Dr. D'Adamo suggests his antistress protocol, allergy control protocol, anti-inflammation protocol, and a detoxification protocol. I'll list some of the specifics: Antistress Protocol for Type-O: Russian Rhodiola, 250mg: 1 - 2 capsules, 3 times daily L-Tyrosine, 500mg: 1 capsule, 2 times daily Valerian, 0.5% essential oils, 500 mg: 1 -2 capsules before bed Aerobics, swimming, cycling for 25 minutes, 4 times weekly Allergy Control Protocol for Type-O: incense, 400mg (standardized to 37.5% boswellic acids): 2 capsules, twice daily Yerba mate tea: 1 - 3 cups daily Sting Nettle leaf - 500mg, 1 - 2 capsules, twice daily away from food Pantothenic acid, 500 mg: twice daily Anti-Inflamation Protocol for Type-O: Glucosamin sulphate, 500mg: 1 -2 capsules away from food, twice daily Tree, concentrated yucca saponins, 400-500 mg: 1 - 2 capsules, twice daily Ginger root Cayenne pepper, 300mg: 1-2 capsules with meals Detoxification Protocol for Type-O: Bladderwrack, 100mg: 1 -2 capsules with meals, 2 - 3 times daily Standarized Chinese Garlic Extract, 400mg: 1 capsule, twice daily Prune Powder: 1 tbsp before bed with large glass of water Saunas and steam treatments (if appropriate) As you can see, his new book is not fluff. It is 583 pages packed with info. Can't recommend the book enough. There are other recommendations/considerations for non-secretors and generic recommendations, but hopefully this will give you a sense for what he recommends for headaches. Best Wishes, Bob Re: Advice Please >According to Blood Type Encyclopedia, O should follow HB routine, antistress, allergy, antinflammatory and detox protocols (too much too type) for migraines.Migraines sometimes have emotional components as well.stephen , I don't have the Blood Type Encyclopedia ! Guest guest
Deflect Quercitin/bromelain Vit C Turmeric caps (antiinflamatory) I try these for the first day or two and lots of water If they don't touch it I make sure my pH is not acid. My emergency treatment is ephedra BUT MUST BE TAKEN WITH CAUTION! I use natural herbal diet type pills that I keep only for emergency. Usually only takes one. If pH is acid take calcium and magnesium KM --- Joyce <savon@...> wrote: > Hi Everyone , > > I have had a migraine since Monday. Guest guest
My oldest son had a terrible time with migrains as he went through his early adolescent, if we could catch them at the righ time and get the advil to him, he was pretty much okay, if not he would have vomit from the pain. This was during his big growth spurt he went from 5'5 to 6'3 in about 6 months. Also had growing pains in his legs...very badly. Guest guest
Hi It's hard to tell where your T3 and T4 are without lab ranges, but your TSH definitely looks too high. Maybe you have cellular resistance to T3? You might also have trouble converting T4 to T3. You can see an explanation of this on the thyroid message board http://forums.about.com/ab-thyroiduk/messages?msg=1186.12 There is some info on both of these on Dr Lowe's site www.drlowe.com. His search engine is not brilliant, but if you use the advanced option on www.google.co.uk to search only Dr Lowe's website you should come up with a few links. Also, have you seen Gail's Thyroid Tips website? It's full of useful info http://home.usaa.net/~wurmstein/ Sally Advice please > Hi everybody your advice please, > > I am taking 1/4 Grain of Armour and 50 mg of Normal thyroxin. Guest guest
HiI used to suffer with AF Atrial fibrillation I know my heart has a lot of SCar tissue and I am very sensitive to t3 that causes my Chest pain . The Dr are not worried about this. I dont get it when I am on just T4 but get very allergic to the world. I have tired going back to t4 tonight I can feel my self get itchy ect in my lungs etc. I dont know why Armour cause this pain but it is sort of troublesome.. I am going to try T4 for a day or so more its it gets too bad then I will switch to Armour again the Dr thinks I will get use to the Armour but its been two weeks now and I get short of breath for a few hours a day. its all very strange.
