Guest guest
, Perhaps if you email Dr. Kolb....she will prescribe it. I took all the info off of Dr. Kolbs site to my primary physician and after reading it, she prescribe 2 weeks of diflucan for me. Don't know that I noticed much difference but then again, I still had my implants at that time. But...please be careful as you only have the one kidney....and diflucan is hard on the liver...and the kidneys. sandra > > Thanks doubt my obgyn wil go for that. >

Guest guest
They are better ..and I think they will go away shortly. I just think the surgery stirred up all sorts of stuff. The swollen lymph gland in my neck and behind my ear are gone. Now...I just have an ear ache!! Am treating it with an antibiotic ear. I have had this ear ache before....it was right when I became somewhat ill. BUt after what we all go thru...I am not going to complain about an ear ache...ya know?? > > Thanks ...I need to call my GP I had blood work done to check my liver > and thyroid. Guest guest
, Some of the ladies have had good luck using yogurt like you would an internal cream. For long term relief, Garden of Life's Fungal Defense (one bottle) followed by Primal Defense (indefinitely), will put an end to fungal/yeast problems - as long as you follow a diet free of sugar and refined grains. Diflucan is a great way to get a jump start though. Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
Give the diflucan more time, and also go on a gluten free diet. For the vaginal itch, use a tea tree oil solution....1 tsp to 2 and a half cups water. It works wonders! Guest guest
, I use 2 and a half cups of warm water and add 1 tsp of tea tree oil, which I buy at Trader Joe's in a small bottle. I think it has about 2 ounces in it and is by Desert Essence. It costs about $8 I think. Anyway, I mix those together and then I have a douche bag that I've used for this. It looks like a small hot water bottle with a long nozzle. I can't even remember where I got it, but it works great. I just put the water/tea tree oil mixture in there and douche. It only takes a few seconds, and the relief is well worth it! By the way, this remedy was suggested to me by Dr. Kolb. PattyGMCLADY98@... wrote: Thanks Patty how do you use the tea oil ? Guest guest
Be sure to eliminate sweets from your diet, as well -- even natural sweets. Adding probiotics and yogurt to your diet will help too. If the Diflucan doesn't work in a couple of days, phone your doc. Your body may be used to the Diflucan or it isn't an effective drug for your body. There is a test that can be done to see which antifungal will work best for you. For some people, Diflucan is totally ineffective and Ketaconazole works better. There is another antifungal that is pretty new that is very strong but tougher on the liver. The name escapes me right now. Kenda > Give the diflucan more time, and also go on a gluten free diet. Guest guest
Anyone has succeded getting rid of yeast infection with MMS? I took it for a whole month and was never able to get to 15 drops. At 13 drops I was already vomiting like crazy and that was with just one drink a day! If you have had success for how long did you have to take it and how many drops a day?
Guest guest
Hello. i am just wonder what are the symptoms of yeast infection and how do you know that you have it? thanks From: Zannie <zannie68@...> Subject: rheumatic concerned about taking minocin rheumatic Received: Thursday, December 2, 2010, 10:18 AM  Thanks everyone for your comments. Guest guest
Hi xeniya, The symptoms of a yeast can be many. Here are some of the signs: foggy thinking, skin rashes, joint and muscle pain, menstrual irregularities, thrush (white coated tongue), vaginal yeast infections, digestive disorder, sinusitis, and the list goes on and on. Here are three great books to read The Yeast Syndrome (Trowbridge) The Yeast Connection (forgot the authors name - I think it's Crook) and the Fungus Link (don't remember author). Google and you'll find them. The yeast connection gives you a self-test and a questionnaire to take to see if you have yeast. A lot of people have candida overgrowth and don't even realize it. Taking antibiotics can cause yeast overgrowth in the gut. And eating the standard american diet can cause it too along with all the stress we face every day in our lives. Hope that helps. Guest guest
Hi everyone! this is Dolores. As long as we are talking about yeast infections, my main symptom whenever I have gotten a yeast infection in the past is that stubborn constant itch that wants to make you want to scratch whatever body part is infected till it's raw.. I don't believe I ever had a systemic yeast infection. That is probably different. I mostly have gotten them on my skin, feet, toes, hands and the vaginal ones where you cannot sit still. Our diets are filled with too much white. I think it is Dr. Mercola who said never eat white at night. I think that was for losing weight.  But sugar is the big bad one. Take care everyone, Happy Holidays! Need to start shopping soon. Dolores From: Zannie <zannie68@...> Subject: rheumatic Re: yeast Infection rheumatic Date: Thursday, December 2, 2010, 1:24 PM  Hi xeniya, The symptoms of a yeast can be many. Guest guest
I've written about treating yeast repeatedly and posted a summary a few months ago on my blog: http://www.healthgazelle.com/blog/?p=5 hth. Michele http://www.healthgazelle.com http://www.kidslikemine.com > > A week ago my son was given an antibiotic due to a severe ear infection. This morning I have noticed that his urine smells very strong. I am wondering if he doesn't have a possble yeast infection. Since starting his antibiotic he has been taking diflucan. I have doubled his probiotics as well. I am wondering what I can do to help treat a yeast infection? Any thoughts are welcome. Guest guest
Thanks ! The grey is cheaper too. That would be great if it helped with yeast. Rosegvr
Guest guest
I use the grey. I believe " flower of the ocean " is more finely ground. That's it. We feel the grey is superior quality to the flower of the ocean. As best I can tell, " flower of the ocean " basically has more appeal to people because it is more similar to the stuff they are used to. Someday, I will get around to talking about cooking with un-ground, natural sea salt. We never even bought a grinder. Sorry for the late reply. Eventful week. Guest guest
I haven't personally tried it. I have heard of others using and recommending it but I have no first-hand experience. I don't doubt it's better than standard " table salt " . So far, I haven't found anything else as good as Celtic salt, though a couple of other things are acceptable short-term substitutes. Most " table salt " gets referred to in my household as " industrial salt " and we purchase it for " industrial " purposes like scrubbing the sink. We don't consider it to be food-grade and don't eat it.
