Please share info with others NFASG (North Fulton Autism Support Group) 3rd Annual Special Needs Summer Camp & Family Resource Fair Sunday, March 18th, 2012 2-4pm Emory s Creek Hospital FREE ADMISSION!!! What is NFASG? NFASG was founded by parents for parents in 2002 with monthly support group meetings to help families in the Northern Suburbs of Atlanta. Currently, most meetings are held at Emory s Creek Hospital on the 3rd Sunday of the month (subject to change). In addition to monthly meetings, the group hosts parents night out at local restaurants, moms coffee breaks, and also runs an online support group via yahoo groups. Two options are available for the yahoo groups, a parents only board and a parents/professional board. Due to the confidential nature of our parent members, any professional that is compensated for services is not eligible to join the parent group but may join the parents/professional group. In order to grow and continue providing support to our families, it was decided we would file a non-profit in 2009. Thanks to the generous donations of vendors/patrons at last year’s fair, we were able to file our incorporation papers with the State of GA and are now in the process of filing our 501©(3) application with the IRS.
