Guest guest
There are many enzyme companies to choose from, but for an alternative to the GFCF diet, there is www.houstonni.com. You don't need a doctor to try digestive enzymes. If you have further questions, you may post here, email me, or email or call Houston Nutraceuticals and speak to Dr. Houston himself. Enzymes are an easy, relatively inexpensive option to start with and you should know in a month or two whether or not they will help your child. No testing is needed, you can just try them. My son's story is at www.enzymestory.com. > hello- > i am a mom with a 5 year old with aspergers- Max( the light of my > life). > > I had tried the GFCF diet without any noticable changes in his > behavior- except the stress of trying to adhere to the diet itself. > > From reading this group's postings - i am very interested in the > enzyme therapy. > > any advice as to how to get started. where do you purchase the > enzymes? > > does anyone know any practitioners in the Houston, TX area who can > give any guidance to all the supplements etc...? Is it best to start cold turkey or to start by weaning yourself off something each week. Guest guest
Hi, I have a lot of questions. I bought some MMS a couple years ago when my son was traveling where there may be malaria. He took a bottle with him but I don't think he used it. Someone told me to test it by putting one drop of mms and 3 drops of lemon juice together and it should turn yellow and stinky if it is still good. It did turn a little yellow and a little smelly, but the amount was so small it was hard to tell. Anyway I am going to assume it is still good because my other son is now traveling to Costa Rica and I want him to take it. When I first bought the bottle the directions said to mix it with juice and vinegar but I was told that now you can just mix it to 5% with water. I was not told exactly how to do that and thought I might find it on this web page but I haven't. Can someone please direct me to it? I would like to make it up ahead and put it in a small bottle for my 17 yr old son to take with him. Can I use a plastic container? How long will it keep? I think it will be hot and he will not have access to refrigeration. How many drops should he take to how much water? He is going to have to have some vaccinations before he leaves. Would it be wise to wait a couple weeks after having the vaccinations before he starts taking the mms? The vaccinations are Hep B, Tetanus (dpt actually) and meningitis. He is going to be there 6 months doing missions work and living in a dorm-room with at least 8 others in stacked bunks. He recently had yellow fever and typhoid vaccines also. I hate it that he had all these vaccinations. Can someone please help me find this information? Thanks,
