Guest guest
Our Dr. does not think our son has a yeast problem, but it seems to me that he does. He is constipated, has reflux (controlled by digestive enzymes), has bumps that come and go on his face and even sometimes on his hiney, and yesterday he told me he didn't want to eat his dinner because " it makes his hiney itch. " He also has a spot on his butt cheek that he has scratched raw. He does not seem to be itching in the actual anus, just the flesh of the cheeks that I can tell. Plus all the behavior issues. We did do a round of 4 days on Diflucan just as a precaution when we started antiviral treatment 5 months ago. I didn't notice that it did anything, but all this antiviral for months afterward may have caused a yeast overgrowth if there wasn't previously an issue. I have a few questions though. 1. Does it hurt to do an anti-fungal if you don't know for sure there is a yeast overgrowth? Or is the hiney itching comment enough of a sign? 2. What is the most effective and easiest treatment? We are already doing about 20 supplements and I struggle to get all of those in him. He detects the taste of just about anything and I have gone through thousands of dollars in supplements trying to find the ones that I can get in him. I just want one product if possible and I really need to be able to hide it in his grape juice. 3. Is ThreeLac a good option for us? Is it easy to hide in juice? Thanks!
