I don't know about the tri atomic, but I have an Aranizer and LOVE it. It works,

is very sturdy, and the company is ethical and cares about its customers.

Nina

P.S. I don't sell Aranizers (but maybe I should!).

I'm not Nina but I'll chime in till she gets here :-)

I have an Aranizer also and usually have it running in this small room

with the computer, then I park it near my bed and run it all night.

Most ozone generators produce nitric oxide, and that's the problem with

breathing near them.

the Aranizer technology produces none of the NO making it totally safe.

Ok, that's the abbreviated laymen's explanation. Nina or Saul can

probably say it a lot better!

Well, Sharon, I think you said it pretty well ;)

Just to amplify it a bit: The problem is NOT that ozone ITSELF is toxic, the

problem is all the CONTAMINANTS that come WITH the ozone -- either the ones that

are on the ground and attract ozone to *clean up the mess*, or the ones that are

produced by the unit that is also producing ozone.

It IS true that one should not directly breathe ozone if it's above a certain

parts per million (ppm). However, unless you're blasting the Aranizer all the

way on high in, say, a closet, I don't forsee any problems. Just turn the levels

to where you're comfortable.

I have a pretty powerful Aranizer (model SS8) that I use for both the house and

the car. The SS8 is powerful enough to clean out a 12 x 20 room in my house; and

when I'm going on car trips I bring it to the car and attach it to a converter

that plugs into the cigarette lighter. Naturally, I don't turn it on to high in

the car.

There is an absolutely stupendous article by Dr. Thorpe from the 1940s, I

believe, that explains how and why misperceptions about ozone occurred. He

details how the original tests were flawed and then quoted every time someone

wanted to say something bad about ozone. I have the great fortune to have a copy

of this article, to which I referred in my Rife Handbook and will be quoting in

my upcoming book on sauna therapy (due out before the end of the year).

More later.

,

I have a portable Far Infrared sauna cabinet in my living room and LOVE it. I

also know people who rave about their ozone steam saunas. It's probably a matter

of preference...You can also equip a FIR sauna with ozone, provided of course

that the cabinet material is impervious to ozone and that it's a CABINET as

opposed to a room, since the therapeutic amounts of ozone necessary are too high

to breathe.

You need enough ozone to combine with the nasty chemicals and render them

harmless. If you're dealing with a severe problem such as heavy mold, for

instance, you really need to leave the house anyway and come back when it's

clear.

FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE ARANIZER, call Ted Trikilis directly at

. Tell him I sent you and that you're interested because you heard

me raving about my Aranizer. If he knows that you were sent by me and are an

informed consumer from the Oxyplus list, he might send you more research

materials ;)

Pure ozone is not toxic. However, it's like anything else that's good for you:

If you drink too much carrot juice, your skin will turn yellow.

If your lungs become irritated from pure ozone, open the window or leave the

room.

This will be explained in my sauna therapy book when it comes out. I'll make an

announcement to the list when the book is out.

$750 Alpine Air machine for years. Matter of fact, it gave me a new set of

, just another comment for you. Those individuals are speaking about the

equipment that Dr. Saul Pressman manufactures. That ozone is too concentrated

for breathing directly from the generator. The Alpine is all together

different; it's okay. Obie.

Dear Nina and Obie,

People's response to inhaled ozone varies greatly,

depending on the contents of their lungs. Clean lungs

can handle a lot more.

In drier climates, less nitric oxide will be produced by

a corona discharge generator (such as Alpine). That is why

industrial corona discharge generators are fed air from a drier,

which lowers the level of moisture dramatically.

Less nitric oxide produced results in less nitric acid forming

in the lungs as it hits moisture. And it is the nitric acid that

does the damage that ozone is commonly blamed for.

A corona discharge generator operated without problems in dry

Oklahoma may give big problems if operated in damp San Francisco.

Thank you, Dr. Saul. Is that what an Alpine is; a corona discharge generator?

And so you'll know, I'm using the Alpine to increase the oxygen within my

system. I'd love to have a Plasmafire and maybe some day. Presently, it's the

Alpine and Colostrum--which by the way, because of, I've been able to also

reduce my circulation medicine to zero; feet, fingers nice and warm. The best

to you, Obie.

Dear ,

The Aranizer is not a problem. It does not make nitric oxide

even in humid conditions. The Alpine does.

Saul, what does what you say mean about the aranizer. Is it okay in the

humid south, Atlanta, where I live. Please respond since I have desperately

can I take something to counteract it or should I just scrub the Alpine and go

Thank you, Dr. Saul. It just makes me wonder why it did me so well, cured a

case of Emphacema [sp] from smoking for 32 years, cured it right up and I don't

know of any lingering problem due to nitric oxide. Thank you, again, Obie.

I've said this before on the list: While I own and love my Aranizer, and would

never buy an Alpine air purifier precisely because of the dangerous nitrogenn

compounds, it is ALSO true that SOME people own Alpine units that are better

made than the majority of Alpine units seem to be made today. Some people do get

good results with their Living Air units. Someone had told me (I forget who)

that Alpine used to make better components than they do now. I discovered this

myself when a couple of years ago I received a brand new Alpine unit from a

friend to try out. The unit worked well, but had been damaged in shipping. When

it finally stopped working as a result of the damage, I sent it to the company

for repair (it was still under warantee). The unit that was sent back to me was

NOT at all like the unit I had been using before it went kaput. I could smell

the harmful compounds as soon as I turned on the machine. AND smelling the air

actually burned my lungs. I could no longer use the unit. No one at the company

understood why I was experiencing this burning sensation or knew anything about

the bad smell. Sadly, the people in their quality control division were neither

informed nor skillful at fixing the problem. They were using inferior

components, and it showed.

So, Obie, if you have an Alpine unit that has worked well, and continues to work

well, I don't see any reason to switch. I would just advise you, and others, who

DO have Alpine units to be aware that they can malfunction -- and when they do,

if they're not under warrantee, it might not be worth it to get them repaired,

considering the " iffy " quality of the components that are being used today. At

that point, I would purchase an Aranizer.

Meanwhile, for anyone who needs to buy a brand new air purification system, I

would not even consider buying an Alpine and would instead simply go with the

Aranizer.

Best,

Nina
