We have run desktops to this point and need recommendations for laptops or tablets. We have been looking at Dell Latitude but dell has just come out with new series. Any thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated? Thanks in advance
Guest guest
For the most part I'm very happy with my big strong D830 so far. Not a tablet though but a nice normal notebook that is fairly well optioned, strong and fast... Re: eMDs? We are going remote and wireless laptop. Guest guest
Hi , I use an IBM thinkpad, which I think is now manufacture by Lenovo. I’ve not had any trouble logging in remotely, even from Hawaii J Steve uses a Fujitsu tablet, and he also had logged in remotely, although it’s been a while. Both of our computers are more than 3 years old, so I don’t know how much this helps. Mine has gotten a ton of use logged in remotely both around town and from out of state, and it’s still going strong. Just make sure that you have the recommended amount of memory (I think it’s currently 2 gig). Good luck with your new office! Pratt Office Manager Oak Tree Internal Medicine P.C. Guest guest
I'm using the Lenovo X61, light, pretty solid, few problems, but I don't get the battery times claimed. (You have to turn the brightness up all the way, for one thing.) Overall "B+", there was nothing better on the market one year ago. Also, Vista works fine. Subject: Re: eMDs? Guest guest
I've used Lenovo X41 Tablet for 2 years as my only computer (and for the 3 years before that an x41 that was not a tablet). They are amazingly indestructible. I use Amazing Charts though. I have XP Pro. Contemplating getting a desktop/ server now in addition. I love my IBM/Lenovo's.SharonSharon McCoy , MDSent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerryDate: Wed, 27 Aug 2008 09:49:18 -0400To: < >Subject: Re: eMDs? We are going remote and wireless laptop.
