Guest guest
MSM: One of the best sources of organic sulfur The methyl Sulfonyl methane or better known by its initials MSM, it is a biologically compatible with human sulfur by which its assimilation by our agency gives very easily. The MSM is a detoxifying natural whose main function is to increase the permeability of the cell, giving way to the water and nutrients to thus flow freely in cells and throw the body's waste and toxins. The MSM offers great benefits to persons suffering from inflammatory processes and deformations such as arthritis and osteoarthritis, providing the sulfur necessary to regenerate the connective tissue and thus facilitating mobility and functioning of joints. Remember that the connective tissue is one that serves as support to various bodies and is part of cartilage, bones, tendons and muscles, therefore, keep it healthy involves a proper functioning of joints, which allows for a proper body movement. Better still is that the MSM is compatible with the common medical treatments to combat these diseases. Thanks to this property the consumption of this supplement is also recommended to assist in the recovery of sports injuries. In this sense, combining the MSM with other substances such as chondroitin and Glucosamine provide excellent results and is one of the most comprehensive treatments and most effective as regards health articulate refers. The MSM has also been proposed as a treatment for interstitial cystitis (inflammation in the bladder wall that causes frequent and painful urination) as well as to improve mental ability and to promote the production of insulin. In addition, this supplement is an important Assistant of hair and nail growth and in general, strengthening the immune system. Some authors recommend its consumption to avoid the emergence of environmental allergies and migraines, and help control the acidity of the stomach. The importance of MSM supplementation is due to the fact that although the sulphur is in various foods for everyday consumption, the degree of assimilation can vary between different sources depending on the characteristics of these foods either, in certain circumstances they cannot meet the requirements of the body. In addition, occasionally the amount of sulphur may decrease during food processing. It should not be forgotten that its deficiency causes various disorders in the body especially in adults. Lic. Guest guest
I have a large bottle of powdered MSM that I can not remember why I bought it but I have a question or two. I have noticed that when my weight fluctuates that at my heavier weights my hips seem to " catch. " It is extremely painful but thankfully very brief. I haven't spoken to my dr because I know he will only say, " Lose weight and it won't happen anymore. " Or something like that. I don't think my hips would be " catching " if everything worked like it should. I do admit that being obese for the last 32 years would not have been good on my joints. Would taking the MSM help prevent the " catch " ? Also, for about the last 15 years I have become more and more afraid of my ankles, or at least one or the other, giving way. There has been no real problems with them, I am just afraid of overbalancing and falling, possibly having a broken hip as a result. When I was younger and not so heavy I never worried about my ankles but they are small compared to the rest of me and I always kind of feel top heavy. Especially if I wear any shoes higher than flats or I am going down stairs. Could taking the MSM make my ankles feel stronger? Guest guest
I have always had baby soft fingernails only a little harder when I was pregnant. People have touted gelatin but it has never helped me. How do you take the DE? I can't imagine all that powder going down easily by itself. Have you noticed any change in your hair as well as your nails? How about your skin tone, any noticeable difference there? Guest guest
You should see a definite difference in a month. I was in rough shape from leaky gut and secondary issues so I saw changes sooner as I did an elimination diet at the same time. If you really want to change your health and body for the better, see a naturopath. www.naturopathic.org Joan How long before you could see a definate difference? Guest guest
Hi Elaine: While I did not invent this protocol, I am probably one of maybe twenty people to have first used it The first generation was the supplier's family. He invented it from his knowledge of MSM. I discovered that They are still selling it for horses on ebay and I just bought 5lbs from him for $25 plus $20 shipping.. You can be on of the the first along with Tans of the third generation. There is no web site or reference and may never be one. You swish it for as long as you can stand but certainly till the coldness goes away before swallowing because MSM is extremely absorbent just as is DMSO (its Daddy). Hold as long as you have patience for and you'll get the full benefit. If you are unwilling and use capsules you will be throwing away a lot of MSM and will get very little response. I basically got nothing more than _maybe _treading water from MSM for years using the capsules, but younger people do not need so much and can actually get results from capsules. Regards, Jim Jim, Why must it be swished first? Please be specific or if you know of a website that refers to the oral and gastric absorption of MSM that would be great -- sorry if already posted. I am reading The Miracle of MSM - It doesn't say much about how to take it other than recommending it in divided doses. Tanstaafl, please do not respond. Thank you. thanks elaine
Guest guest
Jim, do you find that you still need to take large amounts (1/2 C a day) or have you been able to get along on less? Thanks, Dee > > > Hi Elaine: > > While I did not invent this protocol, I am probably one of maybe twenty > people to have first used it The first generation was the supplier's > family.
