Guest guest
Sheila, It really does feel amazing when we have good days doesn't it...I guess if we over do it there is always ice and heat and more rest. Sometimes that feeling of accomplishing something is worth it. I do have fibro over 20 years worth and I want to thank you for telling me about the oxygen bar. I've heard of these before never been. I never made a link to it being good for fibro. My city has all types of cafes and smoothie bars so there must be something some where. How do they make these drinks, are they expensive? Is it something we can possibly do at home? I suppose I can do a walk through in the hospital and randomingly bend down and suck on someone's oxygen to get a free health high lmao. I am curious now as to how much that might help because I am always out of breath. Congrats on that good day and I know you will have many more coming as I know I will. I am hoping the new med my doc put me on today will stop these roller coaster highs and lows which were not me before the pain medication. It's oxycontin and I hate to go to that level but its a last resort since everything else has been tried. Besides I need something to stop the pain cycle so I don't drive everyone to pulling their hair out in here with my other cycling (smile) Love > > Just wanted to share my joy that I am having a good day where I did about 5 days worth of work! Yeah I might pay for it later, but at least to have a day like this gives me hope that more days like this could come! I had to carry my oxygen tank along with boxes and grocery bags through a grocery store, (yeah I'm superwoman today. lol) wasn't using my walker cuz my arms were full, but the oxygen helped tons! If any of you have fibro also have an " oxygen bar " in your city, please go try it. I am surprised how it has eased the muscle pain, as though one of the problems is that our cells don't get enough oxygen or anything else. Thanking God for reminding me what a good day is like! > Blessings, Sheila >
