It is in message 15015, which I am pasting at the end of this note. (Sorry the formatting is so bad, I copied it from the egroups website.) Note Andy's use of the word " myth " . best regards, Moria ----------- RESPONDING TO LINDA'S NOTE: Andy, Moria and I were exchanging comments on Hal Huggins. Moria read somewhere in one of his pamphlets that B-12 causes the " less toxic form of Mercury to become a more toxic form " . (see her post, below). What do you think about this statement? I was hoping that the B-12 was helping some inattention in my 10 year old son who is presently doing DMSA & ALA in 4 hour increments (3 days of the week)....we were still in the process of evaluating it's effectiveness. If you've tried the B-12 and possibly DMAE with a chelating child, what have you observed? Thank so much for your help. We really appreciate your opinions and direction in helping our son. So far, he's doing great - but we need further help in this area of attention. Aly ========= HERE IS ANDY'S COMMENT: From: Cutler <AndyCutler@a...> Date: Sun Jan 7, 2001 11:39pm Subject: Re: Hal Huggins and chelation/detox This myth is very harmful for the 90% of mercury tox victims who feel a LOT better if they take vast quantities of B-12. > One thing he said is that taking B12 will cause the <less > toxic form of mercury> to change into the <more toxic form > of mercury> in your body! I don't know if this is true, but > I stopped taking B12 immediately The bit about vegetarians is also meaningless. If you are an adrenally insufficient vegetarian you may have a hard time getting enough protein. Otherwise it is fine. Andy
