Help pls! STREP results, PANDAS & How much Zithromax?

Hi group!

After much persistence on my end...2 other tests last summer/fall came

back neg. ( & my gut said they were wrong...OCD issues etc.)

I just got GPL Streptococcal Antibodies Panel's back for my son's and

below are their results. Our DAN has prescribed Zithromax. Can you

please share from your experience if this is the amount your DAN's

have done etc?....My boys are also on Valtrex/Difflucan we are

titering up on Valtrex & at present dose is 500mg/500mg/250mg, w/

200mg BID of Difflucan per day.

Test results:

reference range for both is <200 IU/mL

C = Anti-streptococcal Dnase B result U/mL = 1540

Anti-Streptolysin O result IU/mL = 648

A = Anti-streptococcal Dnase B result U/mL = 416

Anti-Streptolysin O result IU/mL = 648 = 479

Zithromax = 250 mg tablet once a day for 1 mth, then 500 mg for 3 mths

'C' weighs 46lbs

'A' Wighs 48lbs

We are using Pen VK for PANDAS. But the dosage for us was 1.5 tsp 3x a day for

10 days

and then 1 tsp 2x a day for a month, and now we are continuing into a second

month at

that last dose. But that probably doesn't help very much, sorry

Hi Marcy, We just got our Zithromax script (23kg's) and our Dr has us on 1/4 of a tablet daily for 3 months. Our ASOT was 60 iu/ml and our ADNase-B 5120 u/ml. Andy from NZ
