It is amazing how OCD can rear its ugly head!!! My dd is feeling

better " sick " wise but other than that, I just can't stand when her

OCD / sentivity issues can't calm down...the friend that was so

unkind, did her in...she was sick so I took her out of school for 5

days because she was not only sick but exhausted and she needed

a " get it together " break. She went back this past Wednesday and

while everything seemed ok - she just hasn't been herself. Plugging

her ears at the dinner table b/c her father chews to loud (when she

is so anxious everything bothers her), getting agitated by

everything, taking anything anyone says personally (she looks

exhausted and she was furious with me that I said she had to go to

sleep early b.c she look tired), and is so upset that her teacher got

upset with her today. Because she is sitting by the very girl that is

one min. nice to her and the next NOT. I went to her/our therapist

today and I said.. " i just wish she could tell me why she is anxious

or stressed. " When will she know or admit that? She is only 10 but

when she is like this, it is sad, frustrating, tiring, etc. I told

her therpaist that if this one friend was unkind to her and it set

her back like this, I can't imagine how she is going to be when

another does this...? It happens and unfortunately, it only gets

worse. Friendships go through this - (this girl was a very close

friend of hers and she was unfortunately, not nice.)

Getting her into bed was not easy either. I can tell she is

struggling and I try to comfort her but it is just impossible as

anything I do or say, sets her off. Her clothing issues are

magnified, it has been such a tough 2 weeks and everything was really

going quite well. ugh...I know it will calm again. :)
