Guest guest
I was just wondering if anyone on the list has experience with diagnosing tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) in their autistic child. My son is deveoping some very odd skin patches that look just like the photos of ash-leaf patches and shagreen patches on the Medline website. Bobby has never had seizures or cognitive delay, but TSC can be mild and just affect the skin. I'm trying to not be a hypochondriac mama, but TSC affect internal organs, apparently, so I'd rather rule it out. Please feel free to contact me off-list if you'd prefer. Thanks! - mom to Bobby, age 5, dx " mild " autism at age 2, very sensory-seeking, talking more and more every day, and can spell his name!
