Both had their share of sweets which reduce copper absorption as does celiac disease. My aunt has a bad vertebra in her back and I'd be curious to know her copper level. I opened her refrigerator and there was a shelf full of flavored yogurt with wads of sugar in it. She smokes which gives people a bloodsugar rise. Her nose is all purple and looks like she has a liver overload from the pain meds and smoking. I'd like to fix her up!
