Guest guest
My daughter has a need to confess everything and constantly feels guilty because she thought something she shouldn't, said something that might lead someone to think she meant something else, etc... We have done some counseling and the counselor feels like medication might be helpful as we're not seeing much progress. I'm not sure how I feel about medication. There is no one around here that I can find that has had much experience in this whole area of religious scrupulosity. Does anyone know any good books on this subject from a Christian perspective as I don't want my daughter's faith to be undermined? I have read Tamar. Chansky's Freeing Your Child From Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and it was great and gave me a lot of practical ideas. Any encouragement?
