Still looking for hat diagnosis

I have become so overwhelmed in trying to find a doctor to diagnose my son that

I had to step away from the issue for a while. I am back at it because I'd

really like to get the diagnosis before school in the fall or at least get the

ball rolling...

A neighbor of ours that I just met has an autistic son and she referred me to a

doctor that is less than 20 minutes away that diagnosed her son. When I called

them, they no longer take our insurance. A visit is $100, but she said it ould

take more than one visit to diagnose him. So, I went around emailing every

possible (autistic) organization I could think of asking if they knew of any

organizations or charities that could help me with the money to get a diagnosis.

I also put a wish on wish upon a hero. I am desperate! Well, all of the emailing

I did didn't seem to pan out and I am once again back to square one. Knights of

Columbus and Easter Seals that were referred to me on here " don't help with

that " sort of thing. SO I am asking if anyone knows how I can raise some money

for diagnosing? We really do not have the financial ability to get this done

without some assistance. My husband has begun to resist again which doesn't help

the stress I am under. He still thinks our son is not autistic. However, do

non-autistic children freak out when losing their klean kanteen and find out

they have to get a NEW one (our latest episode)? Not usually. Ugh. And of course

the local Mental Health Clinic has decided to ignore me. Again.
