Valtrex - Day #8 (need some advise)

HI. My son Hayden is on Day #8 of Valtrex. At this point, we do not

see any rashes, actually small bumps on cheeks that he has had forever

seem to be clearing up (a little). Seems to be running a minor fever

(feels slightly warm alot) Is there a " die off " affect from Valtrex?

We had a major one with the yeast, a month ago. He continues to be on

Diflucan and 750mg of Valtrex. When he is up he seems to be more

engaged and happy, but when he is upset (mostly at 3:30am)...look out.

Pinching, hitting, kicking. NOthing seems to make him happy. He has

never been a very good sleeper though. Tried LDN 3 months ago and it

seems to have gotten worse from that. Never went back to tolerable

(up 2-3 times per week. Now he is up pretty much every night. We try

to limit his naps on these days, to prevent not sleeping at night. We

are now thinking to let him sleep as long as he wants....who knows.

We are very confused and frustrated. Starting private ABA next week

and are now thinking this might not be the best time to send him.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
