Guest guest
Per our DAN, we discontinued Nystatin use after 2 months b/c according to the OAT results, the arabinose doubled - definitely not what the Nystatin was supposed to do! So he switched out probiotics but did not put another yeast control in place. So after being off Nystatin a month, my son's stimming is out of control again. So maybe we should'a paid attention to his behaviors not the test results b/c his stimming was way down and he was a lot calmer. Now I want to restart the Nystatin - do I ease into it - or go full blown with the 4 times a day dosage? Just not sure what to do now that we've been off it for a whole month without any other yeast fighter in place. My instincts tell me to go slower, but I so badly want him on the full dose to counteract all this hyperness & jumping! We are inbetween DAN doctors - I'm switching to our old one next week and am kind of on my own till the next appointment.
