Guest guest
I started my solo practice middle of June this year from scratch. I moved into a new state/city. I am cash practice. ultra micro. Solo. no staff my only overhead is $750 for the 2 room office; one room is a waiting room and the other is an examination room which doubles as my office. My office phone is my cell phone. I take all the calls myself. I am averaging 1 patient a day. My ad is mainly yard signs and a little internet marketing. I need to see atleast 5 patient to make a living. so i am doing some locum tenes job to keep afloat. I dont even know how I am doing because I have nothing to compare it to. but is 1 patient a day good for a 3 month practice? or should I worry? i felt rejected today; My only patient for the day said she didnt feel comfortable having me examine his breast lesion without a female nurse. I felt hurt. but anyway that's life I guess. My medical record is SOAPware. works well. no complaint. I will love to work full time in my clinic but I dont know when I will get sufficent patients to keep me full time. My Locum Tenes contract ends by December I dont know whether to start looking for another part time job or whether my practice will grow by the end of the year. Any advice is welcomed Tof
