is there anything that might have triggered this change in him?

Was he sick before it started? Major changes in his environment?

Any medicines introduced? Vaxes?

These are very potent drugs and haven't been tested on children. I would use

them with caution. He may also be having a paradoxical effect with the

drugs. This is common in children. It means they have the opposite effect.

Ritalin is used for this purpose. Ritalin is a stimulant but in kids it

(sometimes) has this paradoxical effect. Does your son sleep with you? Kimme

Hi!

Just wondering - haven't heard from you before and now see you are on all

of the lists!

Can you tell us a little more.

I hate to say this but these very well could be part of an autism spectrum

disorder.

You need to see a pediatric neurology specialist who specializes in autism

for a diagnosis.

Not just a pediatrician. And not someone just guessing at meds.

Or a homeopath if you want cure.

Let me know where you live and I'll see who is in your area.

Please tell us more and how you came to be on all of these lists at once.

Our son slept 2-3 hours then would wake up for an hour then go back to

sleep for another 2-3 hours throughout the night until we took him off

all milk products. Since eliminating all milk and casein over 2 years

ago, he has been a solid 9 hour sleeper.

Subject: OT: HELP My 2yr old doesn't sleep AT ALL. He is disabled.

I am hoping that someone can help me or have some

suggestions. My son is 29 months and he is

developmentally delayed. He used to walk, talk, grab,

drink from a cup, etc but by 19months he starting

regressing and now he doesn't do ANY of those things.

My problem is that he doesn't sleep. He might sleep an

hour during the day and he might sleep 2 to 3 hours

during the night but other than that he is up. 9 times

out of 10 he is whining and crying.

The doctor has prescribe 2 kinds of sleep medicines

but neither of them have worked.

Lorazapan or Lorazapam and Vistoril

Do any of you have this problem with any of your

children? What do you do

Thank you in advance for your help.
