either :( If any of you know why please post it to the group.

Love,

Sheela.

Not sure if thats what is causing my son's anxiety, we gave him a B12 shot a few days ago, life's not been fun since, he regressed majorly, less speech, irritable, etc. I first thought it was the DMSA, since we just did his first round, but it sounds more like B to me now.

Any ideas why?

Re: [ ] B vitamin complexHi I thought I was the only one who's child cannot tolerate the B's. I know so many who do the super nu thera. At different times I tried super nu thera and he could not tolerate it. I do a very small amount of liquid b so that he is not deficiant along with the dmg. What makes some kids intolerant of the b vitamins. kelly

After experiencing these same problems, I found out my son is

actually allergic to B vitamins. I working on that, but in the

meantime, I read somewhere on lists that giving B vitamins in the

morning only might help with the behavior. Unfortunately, it didn't

with my son.

Most of the vitamins for autistic children have vast quantities of B6.

As even Dr. Bernard Rimland says in his various writings, this is

helpful for about half the kids. Some of the other half respond quite

poorly to it.

There are other things that could be going on too. E. g. allergy to

the sources of one of the vitamins, or to some binder or flavor in the

mix.

Joyce, My son is extremely hyper and I think the B's contribute to this.

It's so hard to tell because I stopped and he's still hyper. He's on DFGF

diet. I just elininated NAC as I think that also caused him to be more

hyper. Maybe one day I'll fugure it out.
