Guest guest
I know SCD says don't use Threelac. I think they said it has lactose in it but then I read somewhere else that Threelac was okay but fivelac was not. I also heard Threelac can feed clostridia. Does anyone have any info on this? I did Threelac with my son last Fall. He did great on it so I was thinking of adding it back. (I had stopped when we went SCD) I have brought some dairy back in fro my son and he is not reacting at all to it. But the feeding clostridia is what is making me wonder if I should try something else. Any other good ones out there that you all are having success with? Did anyone have problems with Threelac? I am really leaning toward another shot at it. Thanks,

Guest guest
ThreeLc and any probiotic that has FOS in it can feeed yeast per SCD research, so it is a personal call. Just becasue it can does not mean it will but some feel better safe than sorry...Custom Probiotics products from GIPro Health are FOS free and there may be others....FOS is in most probiotics I think....it is an undigestble sugar to feed the good guys...Elaine always felt that you could ot control what gets fed so steer clear...we are battling bacteria right now, so we are steering clear of anything with FOS in it....pity as I have heard such great things about ThreeLAc for yeast.... I know > SCD says don't use Threelac. I think they said it has lactose > > in it but then I read somewhere else that Threelac was okay but > fivelac > > was not.
